Yes yes, teams are coming back, but seriously playing with poor players, doing stupid stuff is got to the point of being lame. If you're not 'brave' enough to get onto team-speak [you can just get on and type btw!] then I simply dont want to play with you.

Crossing fingers tomorrow's patch changes things.

PUGs are the future of the game.
PUGging rough, no doubt, but the match making changes should help make this better for everyone.

It's hard to play a role in a match where ya have to be all the roles yourself.

Just being in a tandem group is better then PUG*ing.

I'm always up for a group, TS or not.
I just find ppl in the match that do well or say something sensible and add them afterwards, group up with'em and then let the stomping begin.

Not everyone can be tactical genus's. I went grinding for 3-4 weeks to learn the ropes and get used to the controls. And I know the ropes of the series from back in the day. If you expect to win v experienced players like you might a PvE game you are playing from the wrong premise.

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!

I can't believe you are actually serious. Just because the majority of players don't want to have to use 3rd party software to join a team in order to be competitve, doesn't mean THEY are ruining the game. The DEVS ruined the game by not implementing a simple PUG vs PUG choice or TEAM vs TEAM choice. I have NEVER seen a game run exclusively for premades, that entirely ignores PUGS like you want. I'm laughing so hard at your naiviety right now.

It's good you insult people so much, proplaying noscope420xXx #9942, but what are you going to do when you get destroyed in premade vs premade in a few days?

How to succeed and have a less frustrating MWO experience (Or How I didn't learn to tolerate idiots I just avoid them):

1. Log into MWO and play in Pug
2. Witness the endless idiocies (you won't have to wait long)
3. Identify at least one or two fellow players that appear to have (and be using) brainpower
4. send those fine Mechwarriors friend invites.
5. Form a group (no ring or commitment necessary)
5a. (optional) use a Voice client of your choice or don't
6. ???????????? (just kidding this one is Using teamwork)
7. Profit - also win many games, enjoy the game more, worry less about rambos/ disconnectors/ tkers/ and afkers.

I look at them as meatshield. I just hope they live long enough to allow me and my group of merry menz to actually try and win the game for us. Ive never seen a mass collection of baddies as I have seen in this game.

It's a bit dramatic to say that PUGS ruin the game, don't you think?

The average gamer does not check the forums constantly for information nor do they bother, possibly, signing into a third party service in order to find teammates. The average gamer will simply log into their game and hit the play(Launch) button. How can you badger people that just want some quick robot-exploding action? We are still in a "beta" no matter how anyone compares it to other "betas". Things are unfinished and we must wait patiently for the matchmaking as it has already been planned for the future.

Insulting people (Like myself) for not finding a premade group is very whiney and I do hope that you find tolerance for others who just play this game for some quick action instead of cramming your thought process down other people's throats.

Why must the constant bickering about PUGS or pre-mades continue? Everyone plays games in a different manner and everyone is here for one common goal...simply put...To have fun. I'm sure we can meet up for something simple as that, right?

So you're not good enough to overcome a few bad players on your four man premade with teamspeak and need to fully stack your team? Maybe you should pug a little more to get your skills up. New players and a mixed casual environment is good for the game. I agree that 8man premades should be there for social reasons. Hopefully soon the 8mans can only play against other larger premades because elitist pug stomping is lame.

You can't attribute stupid decisions to just PUGs alone. It is an underlying issues with mankind in general. Some people are just plain stupid and there ain't any patch that can fix that Shiney ;)

This.

Not everyone is looking for some sort of mega-group experience of leet uber killing. IT'S JUST A GAME. The point is to have fun. If I run into a game with an Atlas full of flamers and die laughing at how ridiculous it is, I've accomplished my goal for the match.

I will use it as a learning experience until I am destroying those that destroyed me! Or at least have fun while doing it! ;)

Love the picture @ Corpse Grinder! xD

Anyway, how many of these threads are there now? Quit complaining and deal with it, new players is what all games need, unless you want it to become a wasteland, hence the game shutting down.

One more day and you can play against your gold-ribboned premade groups, have some patience.

Damn I hate it when I go solo because I only have 20 or so minutes between work and making dinner, and all I can do is get 2 or 3 kills and lead a PUG army to victory. It's the worst.
