I think the most bothersome bugs in the game are ones that cause the client to become unusable during a drop. Sometimes the frame rate drops, or the screen is all black. Are their logs we can submit or crash reports we can make? As a software developer I know that sometimes problems are unique to certain systems and situations. If I'm helping to test this system in beta is their anything else I can do to help test?

Is Their Something We Do To Help With The Bugs?

Tickets Tickets Tickets.
As much as people believe crying over the forums will "Get PGI's attention" it is much more effective to submit a support ticket to the staff with some information:
-Your system Specs
-What happened in detail (W/ screenshot if applicable)
-What were you doing when it happened (As precise as possible)
-Location (Map, location, etc)\
This can be sent to: support@mwomercs.com
The more specific you are the better thye can address the issue. Also be sure ot check the "Known issues" forums which can be found here:

In addition to this is also helps to include the Omicron.log file from the Mechwarrior Online folder (as they will likely ask for it if you don't). If your client crashes its best to go and grab that file immediately (otherwise you have to dig it out of the old archived copies that are saved in a subfolder because it makes a brand new one each time you start the client), and if the client bugged out but didn't crash grab it immediately after the battle ends.

There IS an actual crash dump file you can send whrn you experience a crash to desktop. It's in c:/whereveryo installedmechwarrior/Mechwarriro Online/USER/
There is also a patcher log you can send if your patcher crashes.

Contrary to what some might think there is prob. a good chunk of people that do not realize tickets are how to report the bugs. I honestly thought the bugs where to reported in the forums and the crashes a ticket with the log. I figured I would be flooding their email with all the bugs. I now realize I was mistaken but I never was a Pro beta tester, I am like many people now that where flood gate testers. Honestly prob why there is and was so much clutter in forum. Tanks for the 4-1-1
