...to Urban mech,I hated it,I said many bad things about it and it would continue but today while searching sarna I found something labeled as mech so awfull,stupid and horible that compared to it, the Urban mech is like the sweetest clan omni assault

When I saw this, I couldn't decide whether to laugh at it's ridiculousness, or barf.

What eventually came out of my mouth sounded like a pitbull gargling cake batter.

That sound still made more sense than the design of that atrocity.

When I first heard of protomechs I liked the idea. They made sense logically and strategically. Then I saw the artwork...

I would rather see mechassault and the ragnarok adopted into canon than continue to let these abominations exist.

I can picture the engineers thinking behind these mechs...

"Ah yes, make sure the hair looks good! Why? I don't know...it's for aesthetic appeal! Ah hell throw bat wings on there too! And accent the breastplate more! Everyone knows those things will increase the aerodynamics of the mech in flight by .74%!"

Edit: Apparently the proper anatomical term for a ladies chest is filtered on here. Not terribly surprised

It's my long standing theory that it is not the EI system that drive ProtoMech pilots insane, but rather the knowledge that they're piloting something that ugly.

At 2 tons, would that not be more like Battlearmor? Calling it a mech, even a protomech, is a shame to the word mech.

Its only armament is an SRM-1.

This was NOT Battletech's proudest moment. The concept of 'mechs < 20 tons and developing a middle ground between power armor and full sized battlemechs was not absurd, but *** on!



This looks like some demented He Man character. If they didn't go with the whole mythical creature theme, this might have been cool.
