Since we can get xp and c-bill bonuses for capping and capping assist, could we also get bonuses for defending a base. Maybe an extra 20 XP for damaging a mech that is capping, and 40 XP for killing a mech in the capping square?
It gives people an incentive to defend base too.

No kidding, this is needed. I find myself blocking caps of my base so our team can beat them to a cap and all I get is a lower KD lol... good idea OP

I guess another way they could do it is give XP for restoring base cap points. So as long as you have a mech in the friendly square they add time back onto the cap and gain xp and c-bill bonuses just like they would for capping the enemy base.
