I feel that if the game had a in game global chat system this would make the community stronger. the use of a global text chat would also help resolve the issue of pugs getting destroyed in the game and give them a much better and more enjoyable gaming experience.This would allow them to make friends in the game and be a way they could find groups and or build a group for drops. I believe this would be much better way to approach the issue of premade groups ruling in the game instead of nerffing the premade groups it would be better to make premade groups available to everyone in the game with a global chat system.

Could you clarify what you mean by an "In Game Global Text Based Chat System"?

Basically a chat channel in the menus so you can organize things ingame rather than only in the forum.

Heck they could do this quite easily with an irc system with an overlay.

Think you're talking about chat shortcuts in-game? I asked about this in the Ask Devs sub-forum ... no answer.

Somthing along the lines of the chat channels Blizzard has in D3 and SC2 would be great. Make it easier for people not willing to get on a thrid party voice comm like TS or Vent to group up and chat.
