From time to time, when I make purchases in the Mechlab and then save the mech, the mechs disappear and there's no way back to the mechlab or the rest of the client. So I restart, and when I get back, the C-Bills are gone, but the mech is back to its original config. I lost 1.5M C-bills last night like this.

Any idea how to recoup the loss/prevent this from happening again?

You hasn't lost anything.
The stuff you bought are still there.

This ... theres no lost items or money.

However it is a real PITA that bug , and very common.

I really wish that were true. I bought 2 ER PPCs, some heatsinks, and some armor, and had to go back and earn that money all over again. :/

well then you got something noone else has. Report it.

I would be surprised though. That is such a common bug and it never takes any items from me.

So far this only occured for me when I had a (any) mech not fully repaired/rearmed. Client gets stuck after clicking save and resets the changes, the money is spent.

The items bought however are not gone, they are in my stockpile and I can equip them without spending additional CBills.

Maybe I do have something no one else does. No money, no changes, no items.
