flame war

Im not trying to be funny or cute. Im just pointing out that this game has a target audience. If you are not in it, then maybe move on instead of complaining constantly until this game becomes another Call of Duty clone. There is a call of duty already been made. Go play that.

It is not only my dedication... but I want to watch the 'Dev Hunting' livestream as well. And since me is GMT +1 it would be tricky for me regarding working hours.

Besides, any "real Battletech fan" would know that there are plenty of canon situations where the battlefield might be filled with a single mech. Justin Xiang Allard and his trainees faced a company of Capellan Cicadas at the start of the Warrior series. While I never read about a company of Cataphracts, given that the Capellans ran them as well, it's not unrealistic that they'd field two lances at a time. No immersion breakage here.

Yes, I'm going to spend the time to make a Battletech theme to please the "too many Cataphracts break immersion" guy. I'm not that committed to mocking you, TBH. There's this thing called quickmeme, it's funny (to me at least), and it's fast.

Not sure what any of that has to do with COD. Trying to score cheap points with the anti-COD crowd?

Well SGT ODSteve, I'm looking forward to the release of the Cataphract! (to the point where I decided to take a look on these here forums while at University). It's always good to see new mechs (and patches) which will only serve to make this game better, as every patch I am finding the game more and more fun to play.

The target audience is people who like walking around in shiny, hulking, metal monstrosities - not just Battletech fans.

First of all Battletech and your Batman quote dont mix. And iam not complaining about Cicadas. Show me Cataphracts in masses in one source and ill admit that im wrong. But right now it looks more like rewriting history the way the community wants it to be. And this is utterly wrong. Why even have a timeline at all?

No its not funny. Doing something Battletech related would have been funny (though you possibly screwed that up through some non canon stuff)

Call of Duty is gaming fast food. Most of your comments seem to favor fast food instead of real Battletech.

Battletech is not about 1v1 boom headshot stuff. Again, please try Call of Duty. Its a really good game if you are into such things.

You will be much happier with "real" games like Call of Duty or Battlefield Warfighter. Just because this is F2P doesnt make this game made for you. There are other F2P games out there if you dont want to pay for software.
