Tough a full singleplayer game is a multi million project, some of the features listed in the OP are not that hard/expensive to implement at all. And would be very welcome.

My dream:

1) Get the game feature complete (all announced mechs, CW, EW ...)

2) Develop an AI and give us PvE co-op game modes

3) Now you have everything you need to do a single player campaign.
(If not willing to do it - give us a map editor and some crazy fans will do it on their own.)

So the only thing we really need is a solid AI. Then the portal to the single player dimenison fun is opened. ;)

I just have two game types I'd really like to see.

One is giving MWO, now lets not rage because of the title of the game, Call of Duty's "Mercenary" game types. Pugs don't like premades, let's give us an option to not have to meet if we don't want to.

The other is just a laid back/silly game type. An MWO version of Saxton Hale mode on TF2. Put all players on one team except for one. Let the big team only get to play Commandos(Would prefer Urbanmechs!!!), and give the one other player a super-armed Atlas. Balancing as necessary.

Of course, I put the game modes easier to implement first in the list. Please, PGI, take a look on this.

All ideas sound great. The one I would most like to see is the one taken from MW3, where you have to repel waves and waves of enemies. But to make it more interesting, you'd have to defend say a structure or a randomly selected team member, for 5-10 waves of increasingly stronger enemies, finishing at 8 atlases d dc to hold off.

This, but even better with clan enemy mechs. :)
Final wave: Daishis.
