datamined, all the same

Med laser noise is definitely different. UAC is no different as far as i can tell... perhaps the shell loading noise is a little bit louder.

I saw in another developer post that the "Betty" cockpit voice was going to be unlocked in the next patch, possibly by changing the CFG file?

Any ideas if this was done?

I think DHS has been nerfed (engine HS do 1.4 now instead of 2.0?) or lasers/srm6 generate more heat.

When overheating my HUD stays online sometimes, not giving me the idea my mech has shut down...
WRAAAAH MY MECH WON'T RESPOND WTFWTFWTF G-FKN-DAMNIT!!! lolwut? my mech is powering up with the hud still on?

You get no overheating warning.

Rubberbanding mechs... rubberbanding mechs everywhere! Didn't have this before with a ping going up to 140, but now even with 110/120 ping all lights and some meds are rubberbanding.

I have played for 1.5 hours now, and it sucks. My hunchback setup is now quite unplayable with the fast overheat + no visuals/sound to let you know and rubber banding. Also the annoying heatshutdown and reboot but my hud is still gone and has an orange shutdown overlay over it is still present much worse now.

Also my framerate is lower now... on forrest colony it went from ~40 to ~30.. thats quite a massive frame drop. Others reported this too ingame when asked.

Don't bother looking. Paul posted the setting for it, and I tried it out and it wasn't worth bothering with because the voice (not being totally implemented yet) was insanely quiet. Not only that, but its volume was connected to the "effects" slider, meaning you could not turn down the game's effects to hear the voice better, it would just turn both the voice and effects down, same if you turned it up.

She also only had something like 4 or so lines: 25% ammunition remaining, ammunition depleted, base under attack, and incoming missiles, if I recall correctly.

The volume gets better if you are spectating

You are my hero. I hope that you continue to mock PGI and their intent to go through with 3rd Person view.

Also before we get any more posts on it.

It is patch day... The servers will be running fairly hot and that will affect performance, and before someone says "get better servers" this happens in ALL mmo's with any kind of population (especially F2P games that have no commitment) as people rush in to test the latest stuff and get some quick exploiting in on any bug that got by QC.

Apart form that i have not found anything strange not already mentioned.

middle bridge in river city is lowered so you can't just march up the water if you're tall

It's part of the DC Atlas. It's been there since CB but now has weight and can be removed. Time will tell if it does anything - the fact that they left it in indicates they have some kind of plan for it.

It already had weight a couple patches back.

Interesting - so you can't run your mech under it?

Here's one that I didn't see... Damage displays now update correctly. When I die I'm no longer showing an orange center torso.

Possible LRM velocity increase?
Usually I can outrun them at 149 kph in Jenner, they caught up just now.
Upon spectate they "seemed" to fly faster.

Any LRM pilots can confirm or deny?

Something I've never noticed before so it's possible it's been there a while. In my cockpit if I use mouselook while accelerating / decelerating or turning etc then my pilot's arms move the controls. It's a minor immersion thing but quite a nice touch if it's new.
