I crash way too often now! Wasn't like this before. I sorta can't even play anymore because I'm losing money for no reason.

I don't get it, I can play 20+ matches in a row on my laptop and never crash. Are you guys using TS or something that might be restricting the amount of available memory?

I straight pug - so that would be my first guess as to a possible difference.

The game didn't randomly CTD on my until I downloaded the November 20th patch. I've had 2 games where I crashed to desktop right after the map loads, and one where I was lining up a killshot. Very annoying.

9 out of 11 launches crash to desktop today.

5 of them from the black screen just prior to loading the map... 4 of them were after the match loaded but we were waiting for more players.

At this point I won't even field one of my owned mechs since I have an 81% chance of crashing to desktop (currently).

I crash even when PuGging, which is more than half the time. Also, it's an m14x, which has way more than enough memory, processing power, graphics, or cache speed (SSD cache drive). Something else is causing the issue that makes it appear only on some systems and not others, and it's not clearly linked to just performance.

My common crashes:

1) on launch, get a crash when the screen appears
2) on finish after seeing summary screen, get a crash when clicking to return to mechlab / main area


I have not had:

1) pixel pacman visual corruption
2) crashing when max torso turned and firing

Count me in also. Windows 7, middle of a match, "MechWarrior Online has stopped working." Happens more often since the patch, but was never all that rare. I've got 8mb RAM and can typically go about 1/2 dozen games before I CTD.

It appears from the MUXers I game with that those who have less machine RAM crash more often (some every third or fourth game), those with more crash less.

Frequent crashes when clicking on the Launch button:

Black screen then to desktop is most common.

Match in progress to desktop, second most common.

Had 1 crash to mechlab upon entering a match.

i am now at a point, where un installing and reinstalling the game, Did not help at all, i am now returned to menu/desktop/dashboard w/e you want to call the client start screen with mechlab in it. from 100% of the games i attempt the last 30 or so attempts, 7-zip does not indicate any broken files either but never the less i decided to try and re-dl the objects.pak just incae(to update my existing "back up objects") and noticed that on the first try it cut me short at 380mb.... on the second... at 2 mb >_<

Also i get no error messages on crash.... it just gives me a short black screen and thats it. have been un able to play the game for now atleast 7 hours.

anyone noticed they came in today and ninja patched the game real quick . . . so far tho i think all they did was break the mech lab . . . freezes when saving allot

I have crashed to desktop 3 of 5 matches since the UAC5 hotfix patch. Anyone else having problems?

are you getting the "fread" error message? i'm getting that constantly, even after a re-install.

I do have the same problem. Four crashes to desktop this evening and I havn't had a single one the week before.

Yeah, some detailed information on what this hotfix was would be nice.
Haven't played yet today but it would be good to hear what was changed.
