I have a friend who will not play until it is brought in. We have three in our TT game right now, and everyone seems to want to pilot them. I am not a glass cannon fan myself, but I don't mind having that type of firepower covering my arse in my spider or my stinger. Never know when you are gonna run into one of those pesky Lyran scout lances! ;)

You think the RFL-3N Rifleman was "a **** poor 60 tonner"?

It can put more steel on target than many designs 10 tons heavier and once that ammo is gone (100 seconds at max RoF), you've got a pissed off zombie on your hands. Trust me, I'm not a huge fan of the RFL but I still respect the hell out of it's firepower.

Rifleman is best man.

That mech is my favorite as far as appearances go. It's still fun to use one though.

I do like the rifleman and jagermech. Although i will be saving my c-bills, cause my first upgrade is double heatsinks. It's a must. Although i don't know what variant it is but i like he 4 LL one. 4 LL and enough double sinks to keep it under control. The rest armor.

The Bounty Hunter loves the Riffleman.....alas it is unseen :-(

The Bounty Hunter is sad......that he wont be able to make them explode spectacularly.

Yeah IDK why it is like a friggin US Navy weather plane with AWACS on the top of the reseen one.

Yeah that's not a weather plane.

BRING ON THE RIFLEMAN. In fact, let's RESEE all of the UNSEEN. Modify them as necessary to get past the copyright issues; let's have them in the game asap!

Your friend is a ..... very special person
and it takes an..... a person of great principal
to cut off their nose to spite their face, and I am sure we will all miss repeatedly destroying him every match.

As for you, what kind of "friend" are you that wont even let him borrow your computer to create an account on these boards to lobby for his favorite mech. You sound like the kind of "friend" that would suggest everyone else play a Rifleman in a tabletop game. In short you sound like my kind of people, welcome aboard xenowolff.

Although it might not be the best design, the Rifleman embodies best what I always liked when piloting a Mech: use the strengthes and try to avoid the weaknesses, try to turn the page in your favour by pressing you enemy into making mistakes and lead them to their weakspots... what fun is in playing in an all-maxed-out-1337-trashbin when you have the chance to pilot a real Mech? Ok, I like both, the P-Hawk and the T-Bolt better and would rather have them in the game, but for the time being, I'd also go for the Rifleman as one of my favourites - provided none of the others get in.

I'd prefer a Jagermech, but I am a Rifleman fan as well and really hope we see at least one of them included.

I have no problem with any of the, er, 'special' 'Mechs (Urbie, Rifleman, even the Ostscout) making it into the game.

Just so long as it doesn't stand between me and a Black Knight. If it comes down to a Black Knight and anything else, you can all burn for all I care ;)

I'd like to see it in, not because i want to pilot one, but just because glass cannons are interesting

You have to include the Rifleman. Iconic look and nice firepower (as long as you're still functional). When I played the rocks and sticks version (pen and paper) I always had a lance with a couple in there.

I agree with what Paladin1 stated. Anytime you can throw that much metal at a given target, it is a good thing.

To be honest, it's too slow. I've tried every weight class and most roles in the TT game. I love being a light/light-medium scout, regardless of the game.

He has an acct. He doesn't post on forums for any game he plays. *shrugs* don't ask me why. He claims he will wait, but it's doubtful. Probably play a Hunchback 'till it's out, or a Dragon. (as those are the 'mechs he likes in the TT game) So we will see.

Rifleman may be Unseen, but a Jaeger would be an awesome addition to the game. This is especially true if the concept art is anything like ShortPainter's efforts below (more of his work can be seen in Fan Art at http://mwomercs.com/...er-fan-concept/)

Give me both the Rifleman and the Jagermech. I'd own both and use them when appropriate. They may not be the best mechs for general use but they certainly excel at what they are designed for.
