That bug has been around for a while now, I just wanted to address that issue again and confirm it in the current patch.
Situation: The mech overheats and under normal operation it will shudown automatically (unless manual override has taken place), the problem in this case is that the mech won't shut down nor respond to any command, It will still display the warning msg and the HUD but it will be unresponsive even to manual shut down.
That's a big issue on hot maps like caustic valley.
I understand the implementation of mechs and new modules to keep the game interesting, but I also think, since mentioned bugs affect playability those issues should have priority over, new mechs, textures and modules.

Thanks for reading.

Aftering I shutdown during a match (P) and then start up again the HUD does not always appear - the mech can be fully controlled but there is no health status, speed indicator, map, compass, heat information or targeting triangles. Shutting the mech down again and then restarting fixes it.

I can't find the steps to replicate this on demand but shutting down and then tapping the P key to try and start up as soon as possible seems to have some correlation.

Happens when I overheat. About 10x more than it used to before this patch.

I didn't even have the paper doll, only the cosmetic parts of the cockpit that you can see when shutdown where visible. It's like the HUD identicators didn't get turned back on.

That is my usual experience as well. Typically happens once a day for me
