Same. However, the sound seems to catch up after the first time it is activated, in my experience.

Indeed, but I think it still remains a little bit out of sync.

I've been seeing this one for a while now. I typically notice it when there's a lot of things going on at once. I assumed it was the game hitting its limit of how many audio channels it could use at once and simply queuing up the backlog.

This occurs every match, for the first time I utilize it.
It progressively becomes better after turning them off and on a couple of times.
It resets back to its delay the next match, on all maps.
It happens with every mech.

GPU - GeForce GTX590

This bug has been around for a while now. But I feel its importance is very little. Its priority should be about as low as its gets in terms of bug fixes. Mainly because it only happens for the first time thermal/NV is activated, then for the rest of the match it is fine.

Have had this bug for some time. Approximately 1 month +. Occurs initially when I use the feature(s). Repeated use does not have the delay. Delay appears again after approximately 15 seconds having not used one of the features.

Have noticed this on all maps.

Occurred on all Mechs I have used.

WIN7 64bit
AMD Phenom™ II X6 1055T
AMD Radeon HD 6800 Series
8GB RAM

Using on-board audio.

Occurs on all mechs.
Occurs on Frozen City and Forest Colony for sure.
I notice it occurring constantly on those two maps, regardless of how often I use the feature.
One one map it did NOT occur. I want to say it was River City. I cannot confirm that at this time, but I wanted to post findings before I forget. If I remember to take note over the weekend, I will edit my post with updates.

Using onboard sound on my Intel-based Gigabyte, Z68 chipset motherboard.
Win7, 64bit.

I notice vision mode change delays when my ping is high; if the vision mode is laggy then every action I take will similarly be laggy.

Every match.
Every map.
Every mech tested (tested on Founders Catapult and Founders Atlas)
Intel 720QM @ 1.6Ghz, ATi 5650M 1Gb, 8Gb,
Built-in, "IDTHigh Definition Audio"

Never happened/noticed this issue for me until patch 1.0.150.
The issue gradually resolves during the match; the delay gets shorter as the match progresses until their in sync again.
For me this effects missile lock-on and target selection sounds too.

How often does this issue occur?
This happens to me about once every ten matches when using thermal vision. I don't use night vision.

Does this occur on a specific map or any map?
I notice it more on Forest Colony (not snow) than anything.

Does this occur with a specific mech or any mech?
No.

What are your basic system specs? (CPU, GPU, RAM)
CPU: AMD Athlon II X4 640 3.0GHz, GTX 680, 16GB DDR3 1600.

What sound card are you using? (if any)
None, but instead using NVIDIA HD Audio drivers (for HDMI sound), driver version 1.3.17.0.
