Typically when people leave the game they leave the forums. If you don't play the game yet stay on the forums you are typically just trolling. Things take time, not everything can happen when announced. Get over it and play or just actually leave.

Thats why ? Because all the pugs are so unskilled and blablabla so far you didnt prove your are the pro here.. and if you were a pro.. you could serious own with 3 ppl arround you.

I'll play this a little, but i'll probably take this time they've given us to re-try the old Republic since it's now free to play and i havent played it since it's closed beta. I'm sure i have a few other things i've gotten on sale from steam that i forgot i owned to tide me over until the next patch (or the next one or the next).


stomping pugs is no more fun with teams of 4 than it is with teams of 8. And soloing is no better. it's just too easy

I'm probably a PUG, because I am currently on my second full day with this game. I just joined yesterday after having found it doing a search for Mechwarrior stuff. I still don't know where to contact people off the battlefield. I still get blown away after doing only 5-10 damage. I get more c-bills and xp from assists and the victories that you earn, than I get from my own contribution to the fight. I am trying to learn the game, and it' not going very quickly, but I'm not discouraged. I've learned tougher things in the past and I learn better when I suck badly at the beginning. I don't care what you play for the next couple weeks, or for the rest of your life. I have loved battletech since the early 1980's, and I'm certain that I will be playing this game for a long time.

I hope despite all the stops and starts, frustrations and set-backs that ALL GAMES SUFFER FROM, that Mechwarrior: Online will be a succesful and fun game.

I never said I was leaving the game. Just said I wasn't playing until 8 mans are back. Why do you always try to twist things I've said? Please post the link to where I said I was "Quitting the game FOREVER" in closed beta. PLEASE. Because I never have.

No you said you were leaving the game, multiple times. Yet you remained. This is the second time I called you on it, one time in a thread where you said you were leaving, used the actual word leaving and you claimed like you did now that you never said it.

Instead of just you know leaving and quietly following the game until you get back what you want, you instead create these thread that all become vitriol and offer nothing to actual constructive criticism. No matter the whining, if something is not ready, it simply won't be put in and throwing manpower at it won't make it happen any faster. What you are doing here is actually hurting teh game that you supposedly want to make better by creating a very crappy community vibe.

Nope, I didn't loose anything, i got lots out of the game to justify what little I paid for my founder. Still, i don't see why a post like this gives you so much trouble? If you hate it so much, ignoring it, to make it drop out of the recent posts would be more efficiant than raging and keeping it up.

So to get you an example. You bought a nice bike, on which you don't depend on, but like to drive. It breaks. You give it to repairs for 2 weeks, and they call on the date you should get it back that it will take another 2 weeks. Suddenly someone offers you a different bike with same or even better features without asking anything for it. Would you take it for 2 weeks or just wait till you can finally drive again? I rather take the different one for that time.

Never said you said you'd quit the game forever, said that you said you'd leave the game. BTW, finding specific posts is not easy as it requires digging through the search function since th profile page lists only a very limited number of posts.

There sure are a lot of "hardcore" players that don't know how to man up and play. Anything outside their comfort zone and it's not worth it to them. That should speak volumes about the state of the game for most players, but that type of introspection and perspective taking is not something I expect of these types of entitled players.

I bet dollars to doughnuts that you same people complaining about not having 8 man groups are going to be whining on here when you're only winning half your games against other 8 man groups. It won't come in the form of "we aren't winning so this sucks" as that would reveal the fragility of your ego, but it will be in the form of criticizing the economy in much the way many new players and non-premium folks have been.

Can't find the link since the search only goes back a month. Again though you ignore the rest of the post. You love this game and want it to succeed, yet you belittle people, troll and create threads that are just complaints and don't actually help with anything. You are hurting what you love.
