There sure are a lot of "hardcore" players that don't know how to man up and play. Anything outside their comfort zone and it's not worth it to them. That should speak volumes about the state of the game for most players, but that type of introspection and perspective taking is not something I expect of these types of entitled players.
"I refuse to play this game unless I can have my group and near guaranteed win!"
I bet dollars to doughnuts that you same people complaining about not having 8 man groups are going to be whining on here when you're only winning half your games against other 8 man groups. It won't come in the form of "we aren't winning so this sucks" as that would reveal the fragility of your ego, but it will be in the form of criticizing the economy in much the way many new players and non-premium folks have been.
Don't be ridiculous. I don't want to drop with people who randomly run off and refuse to coordinate with the team to do anything. At least with 8-man drops, we know that we're all generally on the same page and there's no badmouthing the lance leader.
PGI, I'm going to be pretty scarce until 8 man drops are back in. Your gameplay is fun, but you're not doing a good job of maintaining a good gaming experience with the pendulum swing of weapons balance, the load of unfinished junk that's almost always delayed, and the horrid matchmaking compromise that satisfies neither side. I'm in software development and I normally sympathize pretty hard with developers, because I know their pains. I also know what would happen if for the last two months, the team I'm on missed half of their deadlines. It's unfortunate, because I really wanted to like your game.
P.S. The economy is kinda borked if you're running LRMs atm, premium or no. The rearm costs are sky-high unless you abuse the 75% reloads.
