Huh. You know, I thought this was a feature actually, like the mech cockpit darkening automatically to prevent the pilot being blinded.

I'm getting it on both, but the River version makes it hard to see for me, whereas the Forest version makes it impossible to see.
By impossible, I mean I can't even see the ground, and I'm firing my weapons based only on the locations of red triangles.

It is much less than it was for me, the main problems are when in a cat being hit with LRMs while shooting another cat (cat-astrophy? hurr durr 
)
