Why is it that I'm unable to the engines I've removed from other mechs in my inventory?
I removed an XL340 from a mech, it won't fit in the one I have now so I wanted to sell it...yet it's not showing up in my inventory. Even if I can't use it, shouldn't I be able to see it and sell it if necessary?

I would love a Dev to chime in on this one.

Thank you in advance for your assistance in this matter.

Are you viewing your inventory from a mech capable of equipping the 340?

I've found removing modules from one mech doesn't make it immediately available to another. Usually takes a second save.

That's not the point.

If you somehow find yourself with stuff (a large / small engine) and no mech that it can fit in (sold the chassis is about the only way to get here), there is currently no way to sell it.

I did this during the closed beta, I bought a Raven and some kit for it, decided it wasn't my style and sold the chassis before I had saved enough for a Hunchback. During that period, I was unable to sell the gauss rifle I had bought (which would have got me 300k closer to my Hunchback), as I could not access the mech lab.

Same goes for hard point restrictions. If all I have is a Hunchback 4P then I can't sell the 2 AC20s, 2 Gauss Rifles, whatever other ballistics / missile weapons I've got in stock in order to by another chassis.

yeah - there should be an inventory mode that shows everything and allows buy/sell of stuff. and shows how many of each item you have and if they are in use.

I second this. We clealy need an option to be able to sell stuff directly from our stock.

Hi there!

Engines are limited based on a Mechs weight.

Nope, they are limited based on mech's default engine: http://mwomercs.com/...s-excel-inside/

I'm not normally one to rant but he DOES have a point. I should be able to see it if I own it. No matter if it fits in the current mech I am looking at or not. I realize because of the way the mechlab is laid out it would be a huge undertaking to do this. Our best bet here is to have a separate tab just for buying/selling components and such. Not just as needed per chassis. I would rather have the ability to stockpile things instead of waiting till I need them then have to click the verification message each time I want to BUY something new.

There should be a way to see any component you own regardless of mech that can mount it (such as if you sold a mech and no longer own a mech capable of mounting that item)

All items in your inventory should show up no matter what mech your in, it should just be greyed out not removed from the list as you cant equip it. This was lazy on the devs part to keep engines from mechs that shouldnt use it. Idk what do yu guys think?

Why? Just have it listed as normal but being non-mountable-red. Missing requirement: This mech can only use engine sizes XXX to YYY.
