I blame you for that making me believe you are furiously sipping an overly caffeinated sugary "vitamin supplement energy" drink with wraparound mirrored goggles and a small cove filled with overzealous children.

I blame you for my sugary vitamin supplement not being supplementy enough.

I blame you for not teaching Stomping to play his mouth harp, forcing him to give it away in frustration to Pando.

Ouch....

I blame that jerk for ruining your day!

(Special case, NOT blaming Drock is allowed. Extenuating circumstances, you see)

Even with special circumstances, I blame you for not following the rules.

(Although I do agree secretly).

I blame you for home-grown strategy board games being harder to make than I thought they might be.

(I may or may not be working on a Battletech/Mobile Frame Zero-inspired Lego mech board game... B) )

(My sympathies Drock, I do hope you and your friend can clear things up. :P)

I blame you for using Legos as stand ins NOT having occurred to me for the development of mine (partially because I am still and the theorycrafting of what I want to accomplish with it)

....is it like, part of the Nerd Card or something to try and make your own TT game or something?! ;)

I would add my sympathies to Drock, but not knowing enough of the story it could be the friend we should have sympathies for!
(the above is meant as good-natured ribbing to Drock, and not as mockery)

I blame you for LEGOs being really freaking expensive (20 bucks for about 100 pieces of plastic made through forced labor... no thanks)

The worst part is that they are really fun to build with.

I blame you for the fact that you have to special order basic lego bricks any more. :)

I blame you for not knowing that they made a new version called Hero Factory.

As for the board game, I finished the first game with my little brother 10 minutes ago. It was pretty rough and I got slaughtered, but the basic framework and mech customization works well and I just need to refine the rules and tweak some weapon stats... :)

When I complete the finalized version I'll see if I can find a way to post the instructions online and I'll leave a link in Off Topic (with pictures!) for anyone who cares.

I blame you for even believing that Hero Factory scrap is actually LEGO's attempt at a new Bionicle.

I blame you for Lego scrapping the Technic line for Bionicle. :)

They may still have some - but since they took it completely out of the catalogs.....grrrr

I blame you for the fact that while I was still collecting Legos I didn't have internet access - anything not in the catalog effectively wasn't there at all. (they don't even advertise the Technic stuff in the magazines anymore :))

My kid brother still gets the magazines- and it is depressing - from them you would think the only thing Lego sells is brand-name garbage (Buy our stuff we are selling because the Movie sold!111!!) Chima and Hero Factory.

I blame you for Lego's catalog sucking now. I used to love those things.

(No, I don't get them anymore.)

I blame you for Lego's catalog having sucked for YEARS.
(About the same time I got old enough to be more interested in the Technic over the other sets.... Bionicle came out... grrrrrr)
