  • This list was taken directly from http://www.mwowiki.o...le=Main_Page... So take it with a grain of salt. Also there is some really good info on this site as well as most of the Mech that the main Houses are building in the 3049 timeline.

  • Warhammer - The Warhammer was one of the 'Mechs featured in the MechWarrior reboot trailer from '09. The appearance of the Warhammer is in doubt since both the original version and its reseen redesign have both been considered unseen designs now.
  • Spector - The Spector was hinted at in this ISN news flash: Fri. Nov 4, 3048: Despite continued denials, investigative reporter Jan Kar says she has proof the MAC are using Star League-era Spectors.
  • Shadow Hawk - The Shadow Hawk has made an appearance in the description for the Dragon mech, however other than that there is no real evidence for it appearing in game. If confirmed it will mark one of the unseen designs appearing in game.
  • Mauler - Recently shipped Maulers receive their baptism of fire against Davion raid; Victory Armaments’ ER lasers performed well.
  • Devastator - The Devastator, which has been hinted at twice in the ISN news feeds, is a 100 ton assault mech sporting dual PPCs and Gauss Rifles as well as an array of medium lasers.
  • Zeus - Media were on-hand at the Defiance Industries Hesperus’ proving ground to see the new 9S Zeus put through its paces.
  • Daboku - Wed. Oct 12, 3048: Luthien Armor Works’ executives celebrate the final success against the debacle of the Daboku as the first Maulers ship.
  • Tempest - The Tempest is a new 65 ton Free Worlds League 'Mech which employs several new technologies. It was mentioned in the Dec 30, 3048 ISN News Update.

I would love to see the Mauler, and it would finally put the AC/2 and ER Large Lasers onto a mech. We would also get our first ballistic direct fire support mech.

I would love to see the tempest in the game. I am not a big fan of xl engines, yet i do like this mech. A Gauss rifle and large pulse laser for range and a couple med lasers and srms for short/mid-range firepower.

Totally agree. The Tempest looks like it would be a blast to play. It looks like it can really reach out and touch someone, yet it can also take a good punch (12 tons of armor, better than the somewhat mediocre armor of the Dragon) and is decently maneuverable with its jump jets.

This is in error. As of March 23rd, the reseen are still considered legal.

I second this; I just did a little research and the reseen are good to go at this time. Warhammer and Marauder are two of my favorites, and the IIc versions will do just fine ;)

The problem is, people love those mechs not because of their brilliant design (most are not), but because of looks, and the nostalgia associated with their first battletech experience.

Sorry but a Warhammer that doesn't look like a warhammer is just mediocre heavy with 2 PPCs, same with the Maurader and Riffleman.

I would like to see the Shadowhawk, Warhammer, Wolverine, or the Zeus. The other few listed really don't fit the time line to me.

I would suggest the Firestarter, given that we have a concept for the flamer, so it stands to reason that we should also get Mechs who would actually use said weapon, bonus points for not being well represented in previous games.

Think there was an ISN post of the Firestarter; something about a variant that was developed about a month back.

There are just so many mechs to choose from. I would like to see the Spider and Flea in the game (as far as light mechs are concerned) But there are plenty of oddball ones I'd like to see. The Imp, Shogun, Hatamoto-Chi, Guillotine for example.

I for one will welcome any of these mech and to be honest... ANY mech they want to throw at us. Why? Because even tho I will not pilot EVERY mech in the game, I sure will try my hand at as many as I can and just to have overwhelming numbers of mech and tech options for EVERYONE to play with will make me happy. It will also be cool to see and kill mech that I would otherwise never play as. I mean to see how beautiful this game is looking already, can you imagine the first time you are out on the battlefield in whatever mech you have and then come across something you have never seen in any other Mechwarrior game to date and or to fight that very mech!

Which mechs are considered "Reseen" exactly? Are they the colored-anime style ones on Sarna like the Rifleman IIC, Shadow Hawk IIC, and Warhammer IIC?

Interesting... but does that include the Macross designs or just the Fang of the Sun Dougram and Crusher Joe designs (Thunderbolt, Griffin, Wolverine, Shadow Hawk, Scorpion, Goliath, Locust, and Battlemaster)?

In the end (again sorry for using WoT as an example) as time goes on, In real time, the Devs can release new chassis and technologies. So what is not available now may be in the future.

Variety is the spice of life, if people like a certain mech they are going to pilot it and they may be able to do great things with it. All the while looking good and having flash backs to being a kid pretending to dominate the battlefield with their plastic rifleman ;)

When I started playing WoT in June 2011, there was only one line of German, Russian and American heavies. Now there is a French tree, two lines of German heavies, two lines of American TDs and a second line of Russian heavies coming soon for a total of around an additional 30+ tanks.

Although some of them are horrible tanks to some people, others find that they fit their playstyle nicely. if a Mech is not your cup of tea, don't drink it. From what I have read, there will be no tech tree to unlock to reach a particular Mech so there will be no B1 grind or AMX 40 sadness to contend with, just the earning of C-bills to make the purchase.

After a few years I see no reason why most of the IS Mechs and perhaps some of the initial wave Clan Mechs can't already be in game.

My 2 C-bills

The one thing I cant wait for is my first ever enemy kill. Im sorry to whoever that may be in the future but if that future enemy pilot is reading this. YOUR MECHS HEAD IS GOING ON MY HANGER BAY WALL ;)
