When I first started in beta I told every one about it. Then most of my friends couldn't play because low end computers or directx 11 not 9. The ones that did try it got bored fast with the same ole game mode. Now I was expecting this patch to be xmas but it was a joke. Not addressing the simply bug issues that have been plaguing the game for 4 months now. A community that bashes anybody that criticizes the game with chants of "It's Beta" and a development team that listens to no one or seems to care about the BT game at all, despite what they say in interviews. So right now I would not recommend this game to no one and personally not hanging around myself. I hope the beta zealots are right and the game will right itself and I can come back to a good finished product.

I haven't referred one person to this game yet. Probably never will. Better off buying a copy of MW3 and playing through that than reloading the same 4 maps over and over to play jenner tag.

I would and have. sadly most of my friends either don't have a good enough computer to run the game or prefer consoles

Yes.
Even with all its faults its still a great game and I enjoy playing it immensley, and more so once they re add proper 8 man groups and collisions.

Yes.

1. it's free.
2. It's quite competitive in the fact that you have to rely on your team so much.
3. Fundamentals are solid. Only tweaking, and content need to be added.

Right now? No.

I was pretty excited during closed beta and would tell my friends & workmates that it would definitely be worth checking out once they polish it up for Open Beta.

Now, I want my friends to have fun, so I just tell them not to bother with it and to ask again if the game ever makes it to "release".

Yes... I ran into my college roommate the other day online. We did a few Drops together We lost everyone. It was so fun making fun of the other guys play style. "Really!!! you were a guild leader i wow... and you play like that????" Despite my little nit-picky problems with the game it is still a really good game. I can't wait for what comes next. Give me more more more more.

at this very point I will definately not recommend the game to my friends. I want my friends to stay ingame and have fun...lately it becomes less and less fun for me, so how could I possibly recommend it with a clean conciousness. the push-back of phase 2 hits me the hardest, tbh.

Only if they were die-hard BattleTech/MechWarrior fans.

Seriously, that's the only reason I'm playing it at this point.

I did get 4 of my old server friends (MW and BT fanatics, actually) to join me. They quickly left as the new player path was just.... really bad.

They've gone onto another game, which while it's dissimilar in playstyle, it has the same basic idea and a better intro path/instant reward system for new players.

Try it for a minute for free, sure...

But I recommend people stay far away, wallet wise, until this title has more to offer.

Frankly, I do not think PGI has the capability to make this a successful game.

How did these yoyos get the franchise rights in the first place., somebody's uncle ???

i did... as the open beta started...

we are normaly 18 ppl ( a full WoT team with 3 backup ppl )
well 8 of them gave MW:O a try... 5 of them did quit.
3 are still playing.. but very very rare.

they all just quited because of the bugs and disco´s... all said its a fungame but not a game to put time into ( time and money ) it aslong they dont fix the main stuff.

when PGI fix the stuff and gives us 8vs8 teammatches... i think i will get them back into game.

Yes, 3 in fact. I mean this is a Beta and it is only going to get better.

What? would you prefer WoW or WoT? Gl
