Oh, good thing that 4 man teams are just a temporary change while they refine matchmaking and not a permanent thing! That could have been bad!

I'm glad they listened to you. You clearly seem to be an intelligent person who knows what he's talking about. Maybe PGI should go to you with all the gameplay decisions they're unsure how to resolve!

Consider it training for Community Warfare and 12vs12 battles.

Nobody actually wants 4-man teams; it is a band-aid solution to tide us over until the real 8 v 8 matching is implemented.

Yeah I doubt many of us will even play in phase 1. Not a good time.

A mechanized infantry platoon has currently.. 4 Bradley's.
A Tank Platoon has currently.. 4 Abrams.
A motorized assault platoons has... 4 UAH's.. (and a PSG rig)

Add in a commander's and executive officer rig you get 14 vehicles for a company.

You think people just made this stuff up?

Right, because video games are all about realism. That's why we're driving around giant mechs with lasers which are totally realistic and based on real world things. Video games aren't about having fun at all.

I disagree. Have you dropped with a 4 man lance in the game? I have on several occasions and still wiped the other team, thought i wish it was 4 man groups and you could have two 4 man lances on a team as opposed to 4 premades and 4 pugs, I believe that it will be good for people. I don't see this phase lasting to long as it does not coincide with their vision of a competitive game style.

This phase is more than likely just a test to see how matching up 4 premades and 4 pugs will do server load and connection wise.

And for future reference please post something more than a single word post. If I want to read thoughtless posts all day then I will give you a call.
