Why limit them to very specific mechs?

Desert Camo
- Atlas
- Hunchback
- Jenner

Gradient
- Jenner

Razzle Dazzle
- Hunchback

Three Panel
- Atlas
- Jenner

White Head
- Jenner

No Raven in there. I am disappoint.

Judging by the fact that some of the camo patterns show mech chassis at one date, and then show more chassis at a later date, I'm guessing that they are planning to have them available for all chassis but they're releasing them for mechs as they finish them.

It's not something they make as one item and then copy and paste around. It has to be made for and tested against every model.

Jenner, Atlas, Hunchback are the first mechs that were added to the game..I imagine the work flow for new skins is probably set in a very similar order.

I'm not sure where you are getting that info from, as it is very inaccurate.

Ah.. hahah.. you are hacking files...

Nobody is getting ANY camo skins yet, they still have time to add them before the camo select system is added to the game.

At least it seems like they're doing these things as skins, ie. like the PC Gamer skin... one-use paints didn't really interest me the way interchangeable skins do.

Back on topic. I would assume the same thing that happened with the PC Gamer skins, will happen with the new ''camo'' skins.

Just as was said earlier in this topic - the mechs that arrived earliest will receive their skins/more available skins sooner.

I am not a happy Raven.

Ravens have been getting the shaft since they were introduced. I wont complain, i knew going forward that the Raven was an unfinished mech chassis. I was full aware of this when i purchased all 3. I was also full aware that the EW components would not be fully realised until sometime into the start of next year.

Not that i wish to whine about such things, but i have patience to wait for said things. Just a little love every so often... so we know we still exist in the minds of the developers... would be nice.

All i ask, is that when the new skins become available to everyone... at least give the Raven a half decent set of options.

Thanks.

But PGI don't test stuff that's critical to gameplay even. You really expect them to test this stuff?

Either way. The OP is 100% incorrect. :)

Your Raven is getting lots of love.

While you're all having fun with the mix-and-match skin editor, you should have a look at what CoV did with theirs. Basic shapes and textures and almost infinite variety. The same principle could be used to make mix-and-match character portraits and unit insignia.
You could make anything in that game, from cyber gladiators and evil clowns to pizza boys followed by ninjas, and anything in between. Two prosthetic legs? Controlled by gene-modified shoulder rodent? Pumpkin for a head? Victorian fashiom victim? Chicken legs? Everything at once?

Any possibilt of custom color combinations in the future? It would really help units trying to adopt a unique look.

I really enjoy the custom skins and hope these will allow us all to add a little custom flare to the game. Making your mech(s)/items feel like your own creations is an integral part of keeping/mantaining a customer base.

Rapido! Rapido!
