As above; It's the holidays and as autumn slips into winter everyone likes to celebrate with a tall glass of koolaid on these festive occasions. Or so your marketing team would hope to believe.

Instead of trying to get more people to buy MC with your surprise deal how about you give everyone with MC a free 20% of their total MC for supporting yet another launch that just can't make it's product match it's mouth.

Looking at your release timeline that has a huge bias towards content designed to get people to waste even more money I am not impressed. I see a dev team going into bunker mode while QA remains non-existant.

Instead of trying to find more ways to extract money from your customers and founders why don't you figure out a way to add more tangible value to an investment that seems with the passing days more and more to be a foolish one.

I expected this much to happen the day i applied to get into closed beta and all they seemed interested in was "how much cash do you plan to spend on MWO?"

I disagree, although im getting very tired of the bugs and disconnects...and I personally wont be buying MC any time soon...I don't see whats wrong with giving us a "Deal" to get some more liquid capital injection in order to hire some more network engineers, more code monkeys and possibly even another map designer.

EDIT: Idle speculation on what they are investing our money on. No source to cite as evidence

They need to understand that most people won't be willing to put in more money until the core game is in better shape and more fleshed out. It was way too early to go into open beta and they really shouldn't be focusing on trying to sell stuff at the moment.

I disagree to a point, I think a lot of people would be willing to spend $5-$20 to try more features in the game like mechs, mechbays, and premium time. Problem is the 'deals' are only at prohibitively high price points, ones that already featured a better 'value'. If the lower tier options were discounted I know many people that would be on board.

iam one of those players...
i came 1 day to late for the founders-package.. and right now.. iam so happy about it.
i personal think its robbing to take money for such a product like MW:O (right now)
if some1 comes up with beta.. check other games.. there you get ingame currency and xp boosts to test stuff.. even in OB.

when the netcode and programcode will work ( thats the only stuff what keeps my money in my pocket ) i would spend money.
