Im testing out a "Hit n Run" build focused around the Rvn-2X. Question is, whats more efficient? 1x ER PPC or 2x ER Large Laser?

Both have poor heat efficiency. If the extra range isn't an issue and you have a fairly fast engine maybe you should consider PPC and LL instead. shorter reach but less heat problems, same damage.
Another thing to consider is that PPC are harder to aim if you're moving at high speed. Better for snipping, while the laser is better for mobile combat.

If you dont mind getting in close I'd use the missile hard point for a SRM launcher. My 2x Raven build is 4 medium lasers, a SRM6 (2 tons of ammo), and a 245XL engine. If the only choice is between large lasers and PPCs I'd go with the lasers for the same reasons CannonFodder86 mentioned.

I'm working hard on the raven, here are some builds I'm testing (btw there are useless unless you are in a premade. Jenners **** you in every long range build without support):
Each Raven mouts:
XL225
Endo steel
10/11/12 DHS
AMS+1t (instead of ECM), BAP, TAG, Sensors Range Boost module
208 standard armour
RVN-3L
Medium range: 2x SSRM2 +2t ammo, 1xSL, 1xLL
Long range: 1xER LL, 2x LRM5 +1t ammo, 1xML
Mixed: 1xPPC, 2xSSRM2 +1t ammo,
RVN-2X
Mixed range:
LRM10+2t ammo, 2xMPL
LRM10+2t ammo, 3xML+1DHS
LRM15+2t ammo, 2xML
LRM15+2t ammo, 3xSL, + ½t armour
Long range:
1xPPC, LRM5+1t ammo, 2xSL
1xLL, LRM10+1t ammo, 2xSL, -1 DHS
RVN-4X
Not tested yet.

Here's a vid of my Raven-4X using hit and run tactics. The match is a pug vs pug and shows that a raven can do respectable damage.
Raven 4X
245 XL Engine
AMS (1 ton ammo)
2 Medium Pulse Lasers
SRM6 (2 tons ammo)

I've tried using the ppc on my 2x and it was awful. I finally gave it up when I fired a shot at a cataphract and the projectile passed right between his right arm and right torso. Some people do well, but I can't hit consistently with ballistic style weapons. I have used the dual ERLL setup and I much prefer it. Also makes it a little easier to hit other lights.
Currently I'm running the 2x with 225XL, DHS, ES, BAP, a single ERLL in the torso, 2 Med lasers in the arm, and lrm5 artemis in the other torso and doing really well with it. It gives some great battlefield flexibility.
