Based on my non-scientific analysis and a healthy dose of assumption... I gather that most community members have devoted at least some time to online gaming and as such, have a frame of reference in regards to how much time they have in the past and by proxy... anticipate committing to MW:O.

Out of morbid curiosity I'm interested in seeing how many addictive personalities we have here and have a number in my head as to the mean average hours...

Are you a responsible player or are you one of the freaks they will find dead at the keyboard with a case a Red Bull and Ho-Hos? :P

That falls under the "Sleep deprivation enhances my online reaction time" category I forgot to add... :P

I'll be playing probably about 2 hours a day. AT THE MOST.

Between job/wife/food/sleep/cat there's unfortunately not a whole lot of time left :P

When the game is released, I'll be playing as much as humanly possible. Over time the amount of game time per week will diminish to an average of 2-3 hours every 1-2 days.

I suspect everyone will have some amount of "fever play" for a couple of weeks just getting into the game....

The more telling aspect I believe will be how many hours a person will commit to "grinding" their XP for fear of not doing so will put them behind the community experience curve.

It will vary wildly, depending on how much time I have, what my energy levels are like, and if there is something going on that I wouldn't want to miss.

I put in 16-24 (assuming 2 hours a day plus extra on weekends) but in reality it will likely be much lower since I have a job where I work full time and on call. Also real life may intervene.

I'd say 8-16h... inequally distributed over the week with peaks on mondays.

I voted 8-16, but hell that could be just on the weekends.

I pray that this game has the pull that others have that I sit down to play for a few minutes in the morning and come out of my daze to realize I need to pee, eat, shower and then go to sleep because I need to work in a few hours.

Gaming addiction is a wonderful thing eh? I fondly recall a number of times saying to myself... "Okay, just one more game" to suddenly be aware of birdies chirping and the blinding light from a cresting morning sun... :)

My average on Dota 2 is about 22 hours a week, so something along those lines. I don't get to play it a ton during the weekdays, but during the weekends I'm all over it.

I'll likely be trying to get in as much in-game time as possible before crunch time starts here at work... then, my free time will be devoted to sleep above all else. >_<

Interesting results thus far...

As so far, the majority will be happy playing roughly 3 hrs. a day + or -

Then there's the one kid that blows the curve by indicating that will play more than 58 hrs a week...

I'm going take a queue from France's latest diet fad and market an IV feeder & sell it as a package deal with a custom office chair / commode... :)
