Description:
In Forest Colony Snow, if the User reaches cell D5 or C5 and tries to climb up the pile of snow and broken trees located in this area, an invisible wall prevents the User to do so, even though it appears to be climbable.

Steps to Reproduce:
  • Start the Game
  • Click the Mech Lab button
  • Select any Mech
  • Start a Match in Forest Colony Snow
  • Once started, reach cell D5 or C5
  • Try to climb up the pile of snow and broken trees

    Notice you cannot
Workaround:

Go around.

I've walked up steeper slopes than that elsewhere. Either let me walk up that slope, or make it steeper so it's obvious I can't.

Yeah, it's odd that you can climb the slope next to it which is nearly if not more steeper than it, then cross over the top of the snow barrier and walk down the opposite side, but not actually climb the snow barrier itself.

I got killed by LRM fire first time when I played that map. I thought I could dart over that snowhill but turns out I couldnt but instead got a bit stuck.

Make that snow pile REALLY big and vertical so people notice they can't go over it.
I definitely hit a wall in my Commando(195= 126 k/ph) that can run up steeper slopes than that small pile.

You can climb over that snow when you use the rock near it where usual some lrm boats and snipers wait for targets. But you cant climb over that directly but you can walk down when you do that from the rock.

Why can't I climb or jump up on the mountain area above it? It's not out of bounds and there is a few nice paths up there.

That invisible wall is one-way.
You can go around and come back thru it...

If you go to the right side, where the avalanche hits the hill, you can climb the hill area and then advance onto the snow-fall. Be warned, doing so seems to cause minor damage to your legs. (At least according to the paper doll)

Pretty much the snow avalanch that blocks the pass it's right now a straight up wall and unable to walk over it.

But if you use either JJ or just climb the radar mountain then proceed to walk over the snowfall you can do it.

Tl:DR Can;t climb it on any way but can walk over it if aproaching from nearest mountain with the radar thing.

Honestly thought you weren't supposed to be able to walk up onto the avalanche from either side. Makes for a more interesting map.

If so then it should be steeper and not stop you about 10 feet in front of it would make for more reason behind you not being able to climb it.

Jumpjets are useless there. It's an invisible barrier.

May not walk up there but with JJ it should be possible.

Yup, I'm definitely having this issue, but I can get over the invisible wall by jump jetting 15-20 feet up.
