Here since June. Not going anywhere yet, though I'm disappointed with the lack of transparency and the oft-undocumented changes in the game.

When the beta testers have to drag information out of the .xml files and via testing to prove what they put in the patch notes is in error, no wonder they said we were "burning out"!

I’m not here, never have been, never will be. I don’t read these forums either and I would definitely never post on them.

One of undying support and denial.

A strong analogy to this malady is the emotions one feels when they hear their significant other is cheating on them.

There is no pain here, never was. You have quite an imagination there. I am still very much active in this game since July in closed beta, not so much in the forums though, mentally I can only take so much negativity, ******** and moaning so I try to not get involved with all the drivel.

Well i for my part was a Beta-tester in the closed one.

But since its getting worse and worse, and not better (Everyone is short-sighted without glasses, yellow filter, balancing of weapons goes over the top, then under the earth, and over the top again)

i take a break. I will look back in a year or so.

Allso..

we where promised toi decide ourself when the premium time would start.

Dosent seem that way, time is ticking down and i never hit any " i want the premium time to start now"

The whole game should have stayed in beta for 5-6 more months. I can understand why they did it, but it dosent mean im playing testcrash-dummy anymore.

So many reports written, so many posts in the beta forums. Non of them where used or considered.

so im out and back in a year. If the game is still aroud then they probably have fixed the most glaring issues.

Actually, it is more like there is progress week by week and we see it.
Things are slow, yes, but that is because they are small shop, and believe me, as a programmer with a degree in networking and programming, debugging something in an endeavor as large as this (perhaps several of millions of lines) is no easy task. Networking issues is equally a difficult task.

That's a common problem on this forum. If you look, you'll notice how many of the complainers spell like 10 year olds.

Seriously man, I cannot honestly believe you are complaining about this.
You are getting a few more weeks of premium time, until they are implement adding the button.
While you are complaining about these free weeks of premium time, since you find this free time so offensive, then perhaps you should take a few months off so you do not have to endure their generosity.

The premium time that is ticking now is on PGI's account, the activation button for your own time and reset of that time is still in the works and not out yet. You should maybe read a patch note every now and again.

Yea, Role Warfare is something that takes some time to get your head around.

Send them here to get them started:

I've noticed a lot of new players on TS who dont understand coms or role warfare. It seems they think voice coms work like the in game text chat,ie- i'm going to run cave in my atlas, or i'm scout hunting Atlas. They all still take off in 10 directions and want to do their own thing with no regard for team outcome and then gripe when they get rolled that PGI sucks and the game is broke. They just can't follow direction or understand focus fire. When waiting in LFG on TS there seems to be a lack of people who"get it" and when I ask the que how long they have been playing they get defensive, or if u help them by forming a group with them they get mad when I start throwing out directions. Are all the real players in merc clans? Guess i'll have to update my resume. At this rate bringing back 8 man teams may not be enough.

Guess what, the op shouldn't have to rant on every reason why because anyone around from anywhere early in beta can see how f'd the current state of affairs are. We are repeating the excercise of seing how ******** op ssrms are when you can kill quicker with ssrms and gauss cats than you can kill a light standing still at close range with a loaded up atlas. This failed mechanic of ssrm boats was stopped in closed beta once because of how cheesy and unlike mechwarrior it was, but now is back. Great job there devs... Guass cats... still the same problem. If this game is about cheeseboats in the long run I will be out. No different than facing a lance of aimbotting PPC poptarts in previous game version. Still hanging around for now, but the devs seem to be getting pushed in the wrong direction constantly by some unkown force. AND known issues such as overheated ppcs and lasers still linger. There is NO excuse to not have balanced gameplay by now. It is pure negligence and a premature drive to get to the $$$$ just look at the black friday "sale". Good luck devs and fellow gamers, without a change in direction this game will flop hard once the general community gets tired of click click kill click click kill and no thought/tactics involved.

To reply to your question, No, the game has not gotten so bad that there are none of the original beta testers playing anymore. There are quite a few of us still here, myself included. What is absent, however, is your ability to spell, properly form a complete sentence, and grasp the basics of the English language. I sincerely hope that both your love of the game and ability to communicate in written form someday return to you.

Been playing sense September. If something is broken, it will be fixed.
The developer team is really small and take sometime to get stuff done.

Just wait and enjoy the game as it is. Nothing is critically broke right now. (Last time something was, was the LRM having 2.0 damage. That got fixed.)

I'm still around and I've been here since pretty close to the beginning. Don't post on the forums as I'm more of a lurker. And pardon me, I only read the OP.

Gausscats don't annoy me too much. Streakapults on the other hand are slightly aggravating. I see a lot of people with copycat Mechs. It's all really "flavor of the month" it seems. I remember when they first unleashed Artemis too and completely broke LRMs. Personally I thought it was hilarious for a few days, and I have to admit I ran a lot of zombie missle boat matches to rake in the C-Bills.

This game is organic, and it will change again and again. Is it going to be as fast paced evolution as I would like? Who knows, but things change with games like this. I supported the game financially from the beginning and I aim to stick around to see what happens.

In the meantime I'm going to bust up some pilots with my dualie AC/5's.

Cheers all.

Still here since thebeginning. Dropped another 50 bucks during the mc sale as well for future use.
Here for the laung run and have even signed up two of my kids and my dad. Sure it needs work and will always be changing but it is still loads of fun.

Plus every two weeks I get something new to mess with.

Most of my clan is on hiatus until they put 8man teams back in. I'm starting to get really frustrated with pugs refusing to cooperate and will probably stop trying soon.
