Is at least one basic, free camo scheme planned for each faction? For example, the basic scheme for the Free World League could be the purple, red and blue of the Marik Militia units.

Furthermore, have you entertained the idea of a player's trial mechs defaulting to the basic camo scheme of the faction he/she is a member of, as opposed to the standard olive-drab?

About future Hero Mechs

I'm interested in buying a Hero mech (just not the Wang) What are the rollout plans for future Hero mechs? Any hints what they might be? When/how often will they be released?

Primary Question: What is intercommunication like between developers and those of you that make public statements regarding the game? It seems to me at times a big portion of forum QQ is ACTUALLY about what is perceived as lies / misrepresentations, but the way I read it most of the time is really community misinterpretation or what occasionally looks like miscommunication eg "Hows that new balance/feature looking? OK cool I'll paraphrase that in an interview and add my own opinion as I am SURE the community will not take it out of context."

Related Query: Have any of the Devs noticed this kind of non-correlation between what you are trying to say and what us Public masses seem to be hearing?

Personal note: Please do not let our misunderstandings censor the flow of information. Knowing what you guys are; thinking / planning / hoping for / frustrated by / might have to delay, puts a lot of us at ease. Keep up the good work. Information is Ammunition

EDIT: Spelloing fix speeling oh wordy tpya thing fix.ya know

When do you expect to have enough cash to buy Harmony Gold outright and liquidate the company?

Being that community warfare was an integral part of the sales pitch for this game and the current lack of any announcement of it in the upcoming content thread can you Shed some light on the subject as to a reasonable ETA or whether or not it is still even in the works?

Will you change the centering command [C] from "center torso to legs" to "center legs to torso" so the mech heads in the direction your looking?

Is it possible to get a statistical bank of changes with every update, even if it's just in PM to a few forumites, for dissemination and distribution? Also, as a sort-of stationkeeping addition to that, can we get an ultra-comprehensive breakdown of the weapon mechanics as-is? I only learned exactly how lasers (damage dealt, intervals thereof, etc) the other day by random chance, for instance, after quite a long time of searching.

It's great that you guys do these so frequently. It's a big help to the community.

1 - Are there plans in place (and possibly a schedule that might be shared) regarding official tournaments? I could easily see exhibition-type matches being a good way to advertise the game, as well as laying the groundwork for eventual e-sport competitions. If so, are there plans for in-game prizes (banners like the Piranha Hunt rewards, MC, etc.)? Eventually cash prizes would of course be necessary for a true e-sport, but for proof-of-concept and exhibition tournaments during Open Beta it should not be necessary.

2 - Is there a timeline for being able to put things like House decals on our mechs? I'd love my enemies to know it's the Federated Suns who just pwned them.

3 - Any thoughts on scaling the amount of damage that it takes to destroy an item to the size of the item? Single crit items would of course die when their sole crit slot took enough damage (10), but for larger items might it not scale to a quarter or a half or whatever of the total crits? Otherwise guns like the AC20 will be at a huge disadvantage. The Gauss I'd expect would have a chance to explode each time it loses a crit (takes whatever lowered damage you set it to and a critical slot gets destroyed), which would keep it as a risky and fragile option even if it has the potential to survive 3 or 4 critical hits.

Will you include melee attack gameplay, if this question was already answered before then why ?
Do you know doing that you include some mech which was designed for not only shot but finish off their opponent with their own hands like the dragoon thick autocanon or the yen-lo-wang with his left-handed axe ?

There's much sadness with dual core users regarding their slideshow framerate performance.

As a sad dual core user myself, I'm wondering on what PCs are you guys and girls at PGI running the game and how's the framerate?

Oh, and you do have a dual core rig for testing purposes running somewhere, right?

Q: How do you guys manage to stay as close to canon as possible? Do you have all the sourcebooks lying around, do you lean heavily on sarna.net or do you even have a "liaison-officer" who communicates all lore-related questions to the Battletech guys at Catalyst (or whoever is responsible for the canonicity at the moment)?

It's already been asked but I would also like to know:

When will more Hero Mechs be released?

If these have already been asked before, please let me know.
My questions are as follows:
1.
Are there any plans to change the method by which the MechLab, as we currently know it, is used to organize the mechbays of the mechs owned by players?
For a clearer description of what I'm asking, or if you want more specifics, check the thread I made: http://mwomercs.com/...izing-mechbays/

2.
What are the plans, (if any), regarding being able to rename our mechs after they have been purchased, change the name of founder's mechs, and to be able to designate builds which we would like to be saved for quick-selection for our 'Mechs?
For a clearer description of what I'm asking, or if you want more specifics, check the thread I made: http://mwomercs.com/...gnating-builds/
(Also, please note the poll results. If they're anything to go by, (via expanding it to a relative percentage of your total player-base), then a large portion of people are interested in the results second question.)

You are at least going to look at the threads, Quiaff?
