First two responses are Steiner-centric. I approve.

But, yeah, you can't go wrong with Gauss Rifles and Gauss Rifles.

2 Spiders were fun in TT. While one jumped in and shot out the back of a heavy, the other was in deep water cooling off. It didnt take long for a couple of spiders to shred the rear torso of the heaviest mech.

Depends on the mission, map terrain, available Mechs, not to mention a Gazillion other variables. In other words, it's still too early to tell with the limited information that we have available.

The more Urbanmechs, the better. Imagine a dozen trashcans jump jetting and blasting autocannons at you.

Sounds like you should switch to House Steiner.

Funny in 3025 you may find an Atlas in a scout lance.

A Gentleman and a Lady of course:

Gentleman to Lady: "You look nice tonight."

Lady's Response: "Why thank you. You look nice too."

I'm not sure...but when I played Mechwarrior 2...my variants for the Timber Wolf and Hellbringer made a devastating combo. I'll see if I can eventually duplicate that in this game ;)

Raven and Catapult, no doubt.

This, except I feel like there needs to be another 'mech to soak up and withstand mass amounts of damage. Catapult's torso has so much surface area and light 'mechs like the Raven are not all that durable of course.

It's a two mech team that doesn't have to poke it's head out to finish you off. Getting shot at is for every other role.
