First off I am assuming engine DHS are 2.0? If I take my striped Atlas RS with SHS and add a STD 325 Engine, 2 LPL and 2 MPL my heat efficiency is .75 in Mechlab. If I add 4 Single heat sinks it goes to .88 efficiency. If I remove the 4 SHS it goes back to .75. Now for the part I don't get. If I take the SHS .75 Mech to the upgrade tab and select DHS upgrade it changes the efficiency to .88. I would expect it to be much better than .88 if engines DHS are 2.0? As is, I gain the same efficiency as 4 SHS by switching to DHS in the engine. What's up with that or did they change engine DHS to something less than 2.0? Could someone post for me the absolute coldest running Atlas RS equipped with a 325 STD engine 2 LPL and 2 MPL, AMS and 1 ton AMS Ammo so I can stop wasting C-bills on upgrades?

Efficiency doesn't work right with DHS right now. I have no idea what value that meter "thinks" DHS have.

The Problem is PGI decided to use different values for everything, therefore never trust the mech lab.

Yet we are forced to use our MC/CBills trying to figure stuff out that is horribly broke. By "FORCED" I mean if you want to change loadouts and use mechlab you have to spend money of one sort or other. Obviously we are not forced to even play...

Latest info we have is that DHS count as 2.0 if inside the engine and 1.4 in normal crit slots. We are not sure though. Mechlab's heat efficiency is broken, don't pay much attention to it.
