Death From Above may never be implemented. The devs have stated they will not be adding melee; hence the Yen sLow Wang having no titanium nails to drive into your sides as it tears armor away with the 20.
It'll be a darn shame if I can't crush tube-born with a highlander though.

Netcode/Lag Shield should be primary concern...imho
Although I do want collisions and melee put in

What you think should or should not be does not matter.

That is 6 new mechs, 2 new maps, and a plethora of other items and bug fixes, and we just wait for 6 months?
Or do you mean that PGI should put their artists and level designers to work on the network and physics code, because I don't think that work work out very well.
Besides, why do need collision back in so bad? The only thing it brought to the game was a way to combat lagshield.

Exactly. Who says they aren't working on collisions already? Netcode fixes are currently scheduled for late January "at the latest," IIRC.

I can understand how difficult it can be to hunt down bugs in programs. Now the last time I did programming was back in high school, and that was 20 years ago now. I can see it being a huge pain in the butt. You change one simple little thing in one place, and it ends up changing so many other things. A simple fix in one place can reveal a whole bunch of bugs that you had not seen.
So here is to hoping they can put collision back in soon!
