This isnt a name and shame thread. I have seen [REDACTED] twice today and 5 times in total kill himself and disconnect as soon as he starts a round and I was wondering if everyone else has seen this lol

He can be our "exploitation" mascot.

I'll be following up with support myself to deal with some "issues" that are cropping up surrounding suiciding.

personally if i see anyone suicide then disconnect i Prtscreen attach and report.
I would do the same for Afkers but i've been in a group more than once where one of us DC's during the loading so their mech appears but they CTD or to mechbay

only seen him in one match and yes that did happen it popped on the scren ** has killed ** so it's defenately a confirmed piker but what to do about it?

report it to support with evidence, alas i ran into him once so i can't set up evidence but this overwhelming forum's sused it i reckon.

If I remember correctly(I saw two guys do it Sat.) he was in a Cicada on Forest Colony. He at least had the common descency to point up as he medium lasered himself into a thermal meltdown...he may have had one ballistic also.

We could all remember the Player-Name and if in any future game he 'forgets' to destroy himself, we help him in good-community-spirit by destroying his mech no matter if he is in our own team

This is probably the third or so thread with that particular name. And if you're wondering, he's been named and shamed enough.

Just report him, they'll nail him sooner or later.

Actually saw him do it 3 times tonight, always was on other team, and saw him do it one other time, pretty sad how many people recognize him.

This is sad news. I reported him couple of days ago with a screenshot to PG support. I guess the ban hammer does not swing swiftly...

Hopefully the "ban" hammer is more like a reset account hammer, and all of those days of exploiting turn out to be for nothing.

Who cares about names.

The real point of this thread should be to discuss what would be appropriate action to deal with such situations.

I suggest following:

Make game launch with a random key: press g to launch, press k to launch etc. If you mispress, you get a new random letter. No more automatic launches.

If you make a team kill, the person you killed can decide if you should get a penalty. Penalty is instant disconnection plus no money or xp from the round.

If you get voted out 3 times in 24 hours, you cant play for 30 minutes.

If you kill yourself, you get no xp or money from the round.
