Before the last patch I had never crashed out once , then another fail patch was released ( the last one) started to crash on launch 20% of the time , that increased to 75% of the time. So I put a ticket in 3 days ago , as usual no useful reply as of yet. So I decided to format both my hd's did a clean install of my os , updated it all and re installed mechwarrior, Now I cant even join a game 10 attempt all CTD on launch , fix this crap please , I will also be asking for a 72 hr rebait on premium. As this is happening alot to many people and as usual your support is laughable.

PS I dont want any of your useless replys about it being in beta , I am paying to play this game and I excpet better support for a product I pay for.

played 4 games on the run , i mean really ??? at least I thought the crashing was consistant , seriously this game is like alpha . not open beta

what exactly did you pay you could not get for free with some time spent playing with trial mechs?

What I pay for on this game is irrelevant , the fact is paying is an option and like i said for a paid product I expect alot better than this crap. And If you must know I pay for premium.

anyway i can understand you might be disapointed...we all are because we had high expectations for this game
wait and see...in a month we should have more insight on where this game is heading then we can really judge it

reinstall the game. The chances are you're crashing on only the maps that use the one file that has been corrupted. I had this problem last weekend and another of our guys had it last night, and reinstalling seemed to fix it for us.

Learn how to troubleshoot. If others are able to play, then the problem in on your end. It is apprent to me that it is YOU that is doing something wrong. I have had crash issues, and slowly but surely they have cleared up with help from the coders and my own troubleshooting. Take the time to work on your end before you blame the company for your troubles.

Just because you have fresh software does not mean your hardware is working properly.

Hey everyone, I hope this is helpful. I believe was experiencing the same problem your describing so I'll tell you how I fixed this. I started by updating my Nvidia drivers. I'm not sure if this fixed the problem because I tried this next step immediately after the driver update.

I found a post months ago on this forum describing how to tweak your "Nvidia Control Panel" settings in the windows control panel that where to improve your mechwarrior game performance. If you where one of the players out there who cofigured this tweak you may want to look into disabling it. These settings are tweaked under the sub-tree "Manage 3D settings". I then selected the MWO executable in the program listed and deleted the settings that where once used to improve game performance in the past and no longer needed. Once this setting was removed my game was running perfectly.

My issue was permissions (yes, all of a sudden and I'm guessing due to Windows identifying a program crash).

Right click on MWOClient.exe in the MechWarrior Online directory, and under Bin32. Go to properties. Go to Compatibility. Check box run as administrator.
If that solves it, enjoy.
