Thanks everybody for the kind messages - Miscreant (Mark) was a great guy, and our clan misses him.

I wish I could remember the name he used in the Mechwarrior games, especially M4, since we played that game
every night until our wives told us to stop.

He also was dedicated the table-top game from the late '80s and the most recent one by WizKids.

Thanks again...See you all on the battlefield.

I should mention that he spoke of this game often...He always reminded me that MWO was going to be huge...
Peace...and thanks again.

Rest in Peace, Mechwarrior.

And when he gets to Heaven,
To St. Peter he will tell:
One more soldier reporting sir,
I've served my time in Hell.

The warrior's life ended, but the flame never dies.
His trothkin, his warband, will fight on in his name.
The earth shakes, the sky darkens, his name is shouted out loud.
His enemies will still know his name and fear him.
Even death cannot stop his rampage.

Seyla.

I raise my glass to Miscreant tonight.
Rest well brother, know that you have fought the good fight, and that others will carry the banner long after you. Peace be with you.

Press play at this link "Sing you Home"

One of our mates got himself shot and killed in L.A. a few years ago - wrong place, wrong time. We in CBS know what this feels like to lose a Brother. We only found out after his mom found our saKhan's email addy and contacted him. She had no idea we were out there as a surrogate family and was glad he had found us when everything else in his "ecosystem" was toxic.

My condolences to friends and family. As some one said earlier, the bonds formed during gaming can be as strong as family. His loss is a sad on for his brother(and sister)hood of gamers. Salute to Miscreant.
