Question for the community before I spend my hard earned CBills.
Do I need to special modules to take advantage of the 360' Targeting?
Do I need a module xp to equip a beagle probe?
Does the enhanced zoom need anything special?
Thanks!

For all modules, you first need to unlock them (using GXP), and then buy them (using C-bills). You then need to put them in your mech. (The first is done in the `Pilot Trees' section of MWO, the last two in the `Modules' tab of the Mech bay).
These modules don't take up tonnage, but do take up module slots, of which each mech has a limited number available, between 1 and 3, usually. (You can unlock an extra module slot by getting the only current `Master' experience unlock for that chassis)
You don't need anything extra to get the bonus of the Module (so equipping an enhanced zoom module is enough to get enhanced zoom), and you don't need a module to use equipment (like a Beagle Probe).

And just to be clear, that module doesn't actually give you 360º sensors. It allows you to keep track of your currently-selected target on the mini-map if it gets out of sight but stays within 200 meters.
If your selected target gets behind you and then flees, he'll disappear after he goes farther than 200 meters away. And all other enemies still disappear from the mini-map when you can't see them, just like normal.

So if I have a mech targetted, and I run past it, it is no longer targeted, but I can still see it on my minimap, but ONLY on my minimap?
Can my allies still target said mech?

Yes, he is still targeted. Yes, you can still see him on the mini-map.
Don't know for sure about others targeting him while he's behind you but still visible to you because of the module. My assumption would be yes.

Just wanted to stop in to tell you Enhanced Zoom is awful. It is so pixelated the regular zoom is more effective.
Please do not spend a Cbill on it till it is fixed.
