Every mech has its weaknesses. If something is truly OP, why wouldn't everyone be using it, right? :) Nothing is truly OP, at least I hadn't found it.

Call me crazy guys but I think the Streakcat's weakness is 271 meters.

I don't know about you, but the Streakcat is the most common specific Catapult variant I've seen in the recent week and I've seen them in most games. You cannot judge whether something is OP or not by how common something is anyways. That's more based on how effective something is versus how skilled you need to be to use it and its cost.

However, I think the introduction of ECM should do quite a bit to quell complaints about the Streakcat. Of course, ECM complaints will be next...

Streak Cats are very strong.

But they have a counter coming in 2 days.

Lets see how ECM plays out.

Streak cats are ridiculously easy to kill. If you can't do that then you are not in the right mech or you are doing it wrong.

Not withstanding that your using a build that is only any good because it uses a technical exploit with the front L/R torso critical size, which should hopefully be resolved soon, an AC/20 cat is IMHO nowhere near as dangerous as a streak cat and has massive limitations when fighting mechs of greater manouvrabiltiy.

The SSRM-Cat is not superior agasint lighter targerts, lighter targets can turn and run, often doing so before the SSRM-Cat can get lock. This concept that "nerf the SSRM-Cat" is coming from light pilots is pure BS. I'm a light pilot an the only time I ever engage a SSRM-Cat in a light is when I want to turn him round to get my buddy to shoot him in the back. The primary victim of the SSRM-Cat is anything slower than an SSRM-Cat.... namely, anything but a light.

My StreakCats role was to get the lights, which it did well, 360 Degree Module, Beagle Active Probe, One LRM 15 Artemis for when they realise they are in trouble and run away, and 5 jump jets to clear the buildings that they are zig zagging through. At 85 kph with speed tweak I could keep them in range long enought to kill them. ECM has killed the build, Oh well that will happen.
