Damn, we were waiting for you to rage on it. Are you saying we don't have anyone to rage it? Holy smokes. An MWO Forum first. LOL

Just a heads up (again) that release date is wrong. Specifically, we haven't given one, even to them ;)

The wink means something... open Beta date, not the release date, right Garth? It is alright you can tell us.

Ok I'll tell you - it's not open beta, nor release, nor any kind of beta. I mean, something big did happen, but this June 30th isn't MWO-related.

Compared to the launch day ...Tunguska will be insignificant, I mean no one was killed that we know of in Tunguska, No weapons fired.. No rage quitting. It was a bunch of trees getting knocked down.

Lets face it.. mere meteoric (???) explosions won't come anywhere close to the chaos of launch day.

1934 – The Night of the Long Knives, Adolf Hitler's violent purge of his political rivals in Germany, takes place.

That's a little more like it.

Okay, no one's asked yet, so I will... I saw on Paul's video that the Hunchback had an armor value of 320. Have these numbers just not been corrected, yet, or are you going to do the same thing MW4 did?

I think that its just not fully in place yet, just like how the heat meter did not adjust when weapons were equipped.

Awesome info in the OP but I think the thread title is a little confusing.

Thanks, Cattra, I didn't notice that until you mentioned it and I went back to look at the video, again.

PGI, Paul and Bryan and crew, thank you for getting this out to us, even though it's not completed. I, for one, am grateful.

I thought it looked awesome. They swarm around like angry wasps. Much better than the boring clusters of Mechwarrior 3/4.

I love the LRMs also. That is how I always pictured LRMs from the Novels.

I wasn't really a fan of the Dragon but seeing it in game makes me want to pilot one of those and shove that AC in someones face!!!

Thank you MWO for giving the Catapult the proper MISSILE MASSACRE! it deserves.

I've never been into the "Dragon" in previous Mechwarrior games, but I gotta say, that is one sexy design, and I like going fast. I think I'll save up some creds for a Gauss Rifle for that baby!

I noticed a bit ago that there are TWO dragons in that picture... camo might help you after all if you are running passive ;)

As far as the hunchback's armor - it seems to be an abstraction at double the standard 'number' for a regular hunchback - 160 armor points.

This may help them divide up certain types of damage more easily (like the damage over time lasers).

Yes! Finally a glimpse of the MechLab and the Dragon in action!

But then this is gonna make waiting that much more difficult...

Holy moly, I didn't even SEE that second Dragon.

Some stuff I noticed:
The PPCs are freaking beautiful. Just totally awesome looking. They look like a mix between lightning and blue flame. In fact, while pausing and resuming quickly to get a good look, you could see something almost like blue fire wick around the area the PPCs struck. Its a dazzling effect, and the PPC fire totally lights up the screen. Very intimidating.

Aegis will be very happy to notice that they added degrees above the compass triangles for both your legs and your torso, so you get different readings for each of them.

Russ got 50 XP for downing an enemy and 15 XP for component destroyed.
