What game have you been playing? The cataphract was head shot central. It's CT is so easy to core that it's a hard mech to use effectively, but the head shot issue was a big problem too.

I guess he never ran a cataphract, so should not be listened to.

I guess the cataphract point is from the last hotfix
they did that before

yea before hotfix they all was killed by hd
but now for today i play ~50 game on [color=#959595]Cataphract, and most of game i dont take any dmg to hd.[/color]

You buffed the Lrms even more!? They were really strong before but now it will get annoying even more. You americans must be really like explosions

LOL this must be a troll thread I mean we all know the atlas head is by far the hardest to hit in the game. While the cataphract is one of the easiest, along the catapult, and awesome. This is a obvious troll tread but hay I guess we all enjoy feeding the troll now and then.

They were weak compared to several weeks ago. This was a slight bump to give them some effectiveness.. especially to justify the high price or artemis ammo..

No mention of ppc or the talked about ac buffs yet... another week?

You can shoot them over 1000 meters. Normaly you dont have to fear to get shot from that distance. They shouldnt be to strong. And it gets sometimes really boring when 5 players stay behind and blow out all their lrms

the missile dmg increase is horrible idea.
especially now that you guys introduced the Beagle Probe.

sigh... you guys need to buff energy weapons.

Rarely see any Lasers/PPC users these days.

Everyone is going Missile Boats or Ballistics now because... ITS OP!

Remember yes the LRMs are getting stronger and they can be really annoying, but SOON the ECM will be in game and some Mechs will not be targets for LRM boats. Will be interesting to see how this being introduced to the game will play out. Patience.

LRM is definitely OP now and 75% is still free of charge. Please make the ammo paid in full. LRM boats now swipe everyone out.

You can buff the lrms when the ECM reach the game.

As you wish, below:
  • AWS-8Q, AWS-8M are the primary visible representations
  • Heat generated by multiple PPCs (or any laser above a MPL) are extremely difficult to manage, even with doubles. Energy weapon builds are nearly non-existent (minus one or two LL atlas, or the 4 PPC Atlas, which are non-viable comparative to AC or LRM-based builds).

Sure the change was from 1.7 to 1.8? It feels more like the old levels of OP LRM. A single salvo wasted my Hunchy in River City. Took out torso and arm on one side and did not leave much the cat I was fighting had to push trough with armor mostly gone.

Later games went o.k. Maybe a freak occurrence but I usually do not die in 5 secs when facing a single mech and no headshot.

P.s.: Have AMS for whatever it is worth.

Dunno but i really like my Awesome with 4 LL. The large lasers feels really good to use. But the medium lasers are strange. I dont feel a real impact with them
