The new patch did not solve this problem apparently, I am still crashing to desktop soon after the map loading screen randomly, about 1 out of 3 maps.

Anybody else still experiencing this issue?

damn was hoping this cleared up and was only going to be present for the one patch (was introduced on the 20th one for me anwyays).

Yeah, it's still there.

I have not been able to play a single match in over a week.

I'm moving on. I'll be back in a month or so to check things out. Can't play, can't test, no point.

Ok just patched, very first launch of map it crashed.

Right now, when I try to find a match, it searches, finds a map and then it wont open.

Played in a group of 4... In 6 games in a row atleast one of us had problems.

Didn't find a match
CTD on launch
CTD ingame
Game locks up after updating a mech in Mechlab

This patch feels even more unstable so we got boored and stopped playing earlier than usual.

I have the same problem.

could play 6 rounds, then I had 3 CTD in series.
I've been playing since the previous patch in the window mode,
so that it has become " a little" better.

Same problem.
After some matches the client suddenly closes without any errors.

Same issue here. Never crashed prior to the 11/20 patch. After that I was crashing >50% of launches. So far this patch has an even worse record. Map starts to load, black screen, then desktop. No error message.

I submitted a support ticket with the last one. They closed it. I reopened it. They closed it again today and basically said good luck. And no I'm not kidding..the exact words were "Your issue may be fixed soon!"

Hooray for customer service.

Same issue here, crashing after being ingame a minute or so, or crashing on map load. Because my specs are .22Ghz slower than the min specs they won't offer me support however, despite the fact I was able to play the game fine before the Artemis patch.

Of course seeing the response you got, I guess even if they did offer me support I'd be getting the same useless response so not much difference than having no support really. They did acknowledge that its a coding issue, I only hope it gets fixed because there isn't much incentive to give these guys money when you can't play the game.

My system is well above min specs. But just to test the issue out, I installed MWO on another machine well below min specs. I did not experience any CTDs on that machine. The game was quite unplayable due to frame rate, but that was expected. So it's not a result of being under min specs.

Since the patch this morning
my client has crashed to desktop with no error message reporting 4 times tonight or once every 15 minutes....

let me know what i need to provide to help diagnose the problem.

ISSUE: Random crashing on loading of any map. (I could only play 8 out of 10 matches today. I never had a ctd before today's patch.

Message: Memory allocation for XY bytes failed:-> Press ok -> CTD Havent changed anything I am using the same User CFG as before. Reverted back to original settings on which game is unplayably slow. Same issue.

Mine keeps crashing too. You'd think they'd have bothered to fix the crashing... but no. Still doing it... a week later. Yeaaaaahhhhhhhh.

I am crashing as well about every 5 to 10 matches.

No error messages but sound seems to be a bit lower quality at times before the crash. I suspect crashes may be due to the new voice pack as my sound seemed normal before todays patch.

Usually when I do crash there would be a warning of incoming missiles but I turned the voice volume all the way down.

Also crashing except when trying to search for a match first time its happened since today's patch. Hit launch and then it crashes :[

Submit a ticket. After your first ticket is assigned, you'll be able to log into the ticketing system, and attach files. Attack your MechWarrior Online\Omicron.log and \MechWarrior Online\USER\crashdump.dmp

There are other threads from pre-patch, but most likely you're crashing due to the known (but not listed as a "known issue") bug where the engine generates texture errors processing the game textures. It could be something else, though, especially if they likely introduce new bugs with the additional features.

The first file is pretty small, but the 2nd one is 13 megs, so it takes a while.

Do this for each crash, so they can collect data on the various crashes.

In the case of the texture errors, they may ask you to replace some game pak files to try and fix it. It seems to work, for a while, before the files somehow corrupt out again.

It is quite frustrating, the crashes are continuous, now I am embarassed in playing with my team because I am leving them one man short so often.
