Greetings. I grew up on MW and I've been wondering, are beta invites being handed out?

Don't think so o.o, CBT just ended I think and next month , Summer for the US is the expected month for Open Beta, the release of it could range from June-Sept tho .

Yeah... that thread isn't 100% accurate. It's been stated by the developers that the Friends and Family beta is not the same thing as closed beta. You can probably find your answer in the thread about it in the Announcements section.
