Salve,
After almost beeing insane cause of the sound-stuttering if something made more noise than a fly, I changed some settings in my soundprofile..
Well, first things first..
It isn't a solution that works 100%, but it's kinda less annoying..
If you are able to...

Open the Realtek Audio-Manager (@Win7 > right corner in your taskbar)
Select your device (speaker, headphone etc..)
Click on.. Well, idk how it's called in EN, "Standartformat)*
Use the drag-down menu and set "it" to 24bits@192000 Hz..

I hope I could help you a bit.. Please don't expect any miracles..

Thanks for your feedback...
Well, as I said, it isn't a real solution, not a wonder and no fix at all. Just said it could help you out.

oh, sorry if it came out without much tact, I appreciate your effort to help. I just wish these new audio files would work properly.

Sorry, I can't realy help you. But I've found out what I''ve changed. Samplerate, try to change this value to 24bits@192000 Hz. Maybe it works for your, maybe it won't. Some people are reporting that it doesn't help, some of my friends told me it's less annoying. Well, good luck.

You can select the preferred sample rate and bit depth either from windows sound control panel (win7) or from your sound cards software bundle (realtek / VIA / Creative etc).

I have 5 sound devices: 1 optical, 1 spifd, 1 hdmi, 1 analog 7.1 surround, and the device I'm using: Logitech USB headset. The headset supports max 16bit, 48000hz (no change when switching from 44k to 48k). My digital spdif interface supports 24-bit, 96000hz (connected to external decoder) and HDMI interface supports 24bit 96000hz (connected to TV). The only interface which supports 24bit 192000hz studio quality is my analog 7.1 surround interface. I don't want to use that while gaming - I want to use my headset.

Edit: ok, tested with other sound interfaces. There was no change while using digital spdif and external decoder. And with 24bit 192000 hz setting the cracking & popping sounds are still there. The whole thing depends of the in-game situations (sound sources) and sometimes you get less cracks and sometimes more: I cannot repeat the exact patterns in every game.

So with my configuration and computer (digital & analog sound) it doesn't work. It might be cpu related thing. I'm experiencing heavy stuttering in overall performance @MWO.

Neither this, or setting Voiceover volume to zero, fixed the issue. I still have blank spots where combat gets muted, and thus the game stops being enjoyable and becomes aggravating, unplayable garbage.

Strange enough I have the sound bug problem somehow mech related.

All is fine in my Jenner JR7-D, while the sound really is a mess in the Awesome AWS-8R. The bug being especially enerving when walking on water...then its almost permanent....otherwise its a jitter every few sec.

Changing sampling rate or switchin off volume for dialogue does not help at all
