All of you are wrong a council could argue what needs to be presented based on what thier elected player base is wanting. BTW hardcore players are what will pay the bills in the years to come.....Not the noob that wants all free stuff. It works for Eve and its successful. If there isnt a community council then the devs will just guess what people want. Forum posts are just a fraction of the community and, as many have said here, arnt good ideas all together. If there were community leaders the ideas and most pressing issues could be submitted with more weight and accuracy rather than an random forum post that may never get read.

As much I think the idea of a community council is interesting (EVE did something like this afaik) at the current stage of development it might just slow down things. Maybe at a later point when major milestones have been reached.

I'd rather see the communication being maintained / increased and thoughts or suggestions by devs not always been taken so literal.
