Some of you think you are getting rick-rolled, while others are probably salivating.
Today, May 7th has released tons of info Im still looking over and digesting, 6 very revealing videos at least, lots of screenshots, an article, etc.

It's probably a slip of the tongue...I wouldn't be surprised if it was to disappear soon even...but look what I found...Right on IGN's Media pics page:
http://www.ign.com/i...online-pc-18954

Release Date:
US: Sep 30, 2012
Also Available On: XBOX360

XBOX confirmed, Sept 30th date.

P.S. If this really is bad PR slip, feel free to delete topic, not that you needed my permission but, I'm with ya.

No, it's just IGN has noo PC people whatsoever and they put Zinga specialists to write about the game.

They get high (really good stuff they have) and write things about heavy avatar mechs, release dates and multiplatform releases. 3rd time they did it.

It wouldn't be a bad thing, selling MWO for 60 bucks and having a few thousand people buying it. It'd be a great boost.

We've been through this already. Garth has stated that IGN has no clue what they're talking about in this regard. They just pulled that out of their rear end - like they're want to do.

Edit: If this has been remarked of before then I apologize. First I heard, but that doesn't mean much.

I'm not sure what's up with those dates. Neither are official, so take them with shakers of salt.

Ahh, still, I would not expect any developer to break there NDA.
Granted, it's early for a date for a developer, but a publisher usually has one, that is for sure.
No mention of the xbox360 with that, I know the devs mentioned they were open to it.
I kind of expect it in some fashion, but making a PC version successful should be challenging enough one would think.

My bad for duping this stuff, I'm late to the game this evening.

Thanks for the heads up on the article and screenshots/videos. I don't really read game sites in general so good to come to the MWO forums to pick up on the news from elsewhere.

Dragon looks awesome, mechlab looks good too.

1.: There is no release day, until the PGI tell us. So, it's a lie.
2.: There is no XBox port. PGI confirmed this long ago. So, it's a lie.

I'm gonna tell you, it's a lie...

Now you happy?

I guess I'm happy, although I was kind of happy before too, still happy. Not much has changed on the happiness front, thx for asking.

Just wondering do you have like have PGI boots and PGI camo gear, do miltary drills in them, etc, I'm just wondering.

Edit: I was just joking as to your terseness and rigidity in your response, but I notice you are from Hungary and maybe English isn't your first language, in that case take no offense at my joking.

I figured that was the least i could do too, since that is the only link I know to most all the May 7th goodies in one place.
I'd suggest it for a sticky, but the title throws me a bit, could be edited to something more like new videos/screenshots.
It's not like this game has a lot of these assets floating around, these were quite revealing.
I hope IGN paid them a pretty penny for exclusivity.

Yes, it sure is odd how this, the actual game site, has one screenshot whereas IGN has a whole bunch of them isn't it?

Well if the screen shots are accurate, the Mechlab ones at least give us the price of weapons and ammo .

Exposure is worth its weight in gold, especially for a game with as small of a following as MechWarrior.

Small following? This game used to be CoD of it's age in terms of sales and popularity.

Keywords being "used to be". MechWarrior has been pretty popular in the past, but as popular as CoD? Especially today? Heh.

Parts is one thing (weapons/addons), it's the price of the mechs from todays mechlab video that scare me.
3.5 million to 10 million C bills, that might take a while to earn F2P. I hope that isn't as grindy as it may sound. O_o
We also start with 4 Mech slots, so we can have up to 4 mechs in our mechlab for free. How long it will take to get 4 free mechs is a good question.

You forgot "...of it's age". That means that even 10 000 people knowing about the game and playing it, was actually a very good sign (not many people had computers back in the day).

This game is likely going to need a bit more then 10,000 people to be successful. Just sayin'.
