Yea, keep on dissing the zoom module; meanwhile, I will keep headshotting at 1200m.

I don't need a chinese cartoon censor zoom to headshot these giant mechs. 1200m? Oh my god, are you playing on that desert level we don't have access to yet!?

There are these things called, "hills;" you climb up them and shoot things that are far away.

No, it usually only takes a few minutes to headshot 4 or 5 people.

Do you Purchase a Module for each variant or for chassis as a whole

Edit* Also is there a good write up of how the Experience system works?

It's a pixel mess that doesn't really do anything. I only have closed beta screens of it. Basically, don't get it until they improve it.

I think 360 is something I'll look into. Useful on both scouts and brawlers. Tagging a target and not having it dissapear while you're maneuivering to avoid being made into mech salad is always good.

I bought the zoom. It's a pixelated mess, and lasers obscure the whole thing when you fire. BUT, it's still a 4x zoom, and you can see what you're aiming for better than 3x at extreme range. I'm glad it does not override the normal zoom, or get added on as a 3rd position.

Does 360 sensors help hold SSRM lock? If not, it does not seem terribly vital if you a ) have decent situational awareness, and b ) don't go running off by your self and get swarmed. If you have lance mates around, you should be able to watch each other's backs and exchange the sensor data... Sensor range would be good, especially for scouts. I will probably get that next. Cap accelerator also would be better for scouts than others I think.

I tried, but I only use it on my guncat, and I kept getting killed by Jenners before I could actually get a picture of anything.

OK, I apologize for the cropping, but I was in a hurry.

Standard zoom:

Advanced zoom:

Yes, it's grainy, although the smoke is from the landscape, but the image is clearly larger and you can still make out the different sections easily.

I need an advanced zoom just to see those pictures, why did you make them to small?

Or do you actually play at 620x380 resolution?

Cap Accelerator is the only module that can make the difference between winning and losing.

The forum shrinks them to fit; you could try clicking on them, I suppose, but I understand if that is too radical a suggestion

Sensor range must have for everyone. next is target info since even fracture of second will help you to survive against ssrm\srm cat or gauss slug. 360 is useless - what the point of seing target behind me on radar if i still must lock it (in other words someone who sneaked from behind will still be invisible on radar as long as i cant lock him at least once)? Cap accelerator handy but rarely used and make sense on lights. zoom is crap.

purchasing the module is similar to buying equipment. Once it is bought you can unequip it and move it to another mech. So, you only need to buy one of each. Opening master for the extra slot is the pain but it is worth it, especially on the mech types you plan to run the most often.
