Having gone through the dev blogs about melee, has anyone seen the Plasma Torchs or Bang Needles in action in Steel Battalion?
Basically, a "melee attack" in MWO would simply be an automatic animation. It wouldn't be a cinematic, but a real-time, view-jarring (probably motion-sickness inducing) flurry of swings that stun/knock over an enemy mech.
That might work - simply the melee action to a single button press.[/b]

Auto Melee Action?

In BT there was a mech that was called the axeman or hachitman someting like that....it had a melee attack. it am told if it hit its target mech it had a good chance of cutting an arm of leg off. would be kinda cool to see that in game IMO.
EDIT: ohh yeah it had a massive battle axe is why they called it the hatchit man i think...
