I used to enjoy the heck out of this game when I played just to play. Then I started working towards the master efficiency for my raven 2x.
Currently 11 out of 12 elite skills in. Yelling at screen, hitting the sauce more, repeatedly alphagasming from the top of buildings in frozen city while guasscats in cave lines up shots on my rear CT. I've never nerd raged so hard. What have I become?

When ECM comes for the Jenner there will be no point in piloting a Raven anyways.....................so all your hard work will go down the drain! :)

A typical FPS gamer.
Seriously though, chill out, we won't think any less of you if you don't have a master skill, some of the best pilots I know don't have master skills.

Seriously. My play has diminished so much since I started trying to grind this out. I used to do great things with my raven. The 3L wasn't so bad because I found a config that I liked. Can't get into the 4X though.

I have mixed feelings. Wish master were more beneficial. Elite is huge. Having to try 2 other variants is a pain, but both times I've wound up settling on a different variant than what I started on.

I know how you feel a bit really. I started to like the Catapult but grinding through the K2...I just never got into it as much. I mean it can do some silly things but it just didn't click. Never really nerd raged though, I just lowered my expectations a bit.

I mean I was still having fun, but I had no real need to become the best K2 sniper out there. Once I got back to my C1 it was like seeing an old friend after years and years...then off to the C4. :)

Yeah, because a light with ECM and a Gauss/AC-20 will be useless B)

Sorry, the Jenner is nasty, but it's not the only boat in the water.

Doesn't the master double the elite benefits? At least that's the impression I was under. If its just the module slot, I don't even care. It would take me something like 3 years just to grind the gxp to use them all anyways :)

The Raven/Commando will not be getting ECM according to the devs.

Actually it looks like Jenner will not.

After some discussion within the dev team, we have decided to remove the ECM capability from the Jenner JR7-D. The first post will be edited to reflect this.

We would also like to remind people that the ECM is not all powerful. The rock to its scissors is the TAG laser. If you use it to hit anyone cloaked by an ECM, you and your team will be able to target them. Like any new addition to the game, this just requires a shift in thinking how to equip your Mech and/or team.

Seriously, take a lil break. Dont get so worked up over it, after all its just a game. Just relax and enjoy the play if you dont take a break. I have found that if I TRY to get points to complete my tree, i end up trying TOO hard and getting my butt kicked doing stupid things. If I just relax and play for the fun, then I actually do loads better and the XP flows like a Founders bonus.
