The result should have been that you left the base with the rest of the team, thus keeping your strongest 'mechs together. Why didn't you?
Fixed.
You know what the other team did?
'Let's defend the base.' And they did.
And a scout ran in. And they killed it.
Then they saw two assaults wandering around in the lower city by themselves. So they said 'Lets go get those guys.' And they did.
And then they were up 3-0. And they said 'let's push the enemy base and finish this.' And they did. Together. And they may have been all pugs. They may have been a premade and some pugs. They may even have been the rare double-premade, but this is unlikely. But they used teamwork and you did not.
You have nearly a thousand posts on this board. A
thousand. How can you possibly not understand the team-oriented nature of this game? How can you possibly have walked off all the way across the water to the lower city and
not noticed that it was just you and one other 'mech just hanging out in the breeze, waiting to be picked off?
It's one thing to play poorly. It's entirely another to complain about the premade that tried to play well
and incorporate you in their teamplay by communicating with you. You had the option to listen to and follow their plan. You ALSO had the option of proposing your own counter-plan and discussing it in chat. But you chose the worst of all things, ignoring any plan entirely and doing your own thing.
A lot of players do what you do, sadly, but you're the first one I've seen with the gall to come and complain about the other guys.
