Hi there !

I may have a "gameplay"-Mechanic wich can be very useful !

My Idea will boost slim mechs, and gives an additional enhancement of engaging the enemy...

The idea is simple...

Calculate the angle of impact on the mech...

For example, a hit from a gaus on an atlas (left arm) - twist the upper torso in the opposite direction the shot is coming from...

With this "small" calculation - you can enhance an additional Gameplay.

At the moment i see, the cockpit is shaking, but the Crosshair - still on the same position at is was before the shake.

This is not strategic - and not useful for gameplay.

I suggest you should rethink the situation .

Let me at least explain, what happens, if a torso is twisted at maximum, and get an additional hit in the direction where the torso is twisted.

Theoretical - the pilot (in Tabeltop) has to do a rescue-throw - not to knock down.

I think - that this situation is happen not so often - but... in this special situation - it could be an advance for team play...

I hope this Idea is cool for you, and contact me - if you have some requests...

Greetings

not the worst idea out there.
I personally would love to see knockdowns for smaller mechs when hit by big guns, maybe even a small chance for heavier mechs depending on the impact location
