Fun with a CNC Plasma Table

Work is slow (in fact, horribly, badly slow), decided to test out the plasma table with stainless steel.

Still needs to be cleaned and polished.

Frankly, I'd love to be able to make and sell stuff like this, if the interest is there and FASA's licensing for this sort of thing is in my reach.

Nice work stove bot, I build RC gliders and looked at getting my parts CNC Laser cut but never did it in the end.

How thick was the stainless steel you used, i'd be interested to see your machine too. Did you build it yourself or is it an off the shelf jobby?

The stainless is some leftover stuff from a bar that a friend works at...Huge piece, can't believe they were going to throw it away. It's 16 guage if I remember right.

The gantry is an old Torchmate 1, so it's kinda inbetween. The table had to be assembled, but most of it came as a kit.

Nice, it's crazy what some people will throw away! well at least it found a good home (or should that be house).
