I have occasionally from other DA users and friends/family at home, but it's been a blue moon since.

I usually start with a larger circle with an cross in it to denote my focal point (sometimes I write "put something HERE" in the circle too if I'm having a mental block), I then draw in a skeleton, followed by a wire frame, then I start sketching in rough details. After I have all the details sketched in I take my eraser pad and lighten the whole thing and then start to add in finer details with a really sharp pencil as well as adding rudimentary shading to help with depth.

From there I decide if I want to ink it in, color it, make it black and white, scan it in and finish it digitally, etc.

Lol, I think it's because I just based it on the Commache attack helicopter and I'm guessing Alex based it on attack helos too judging by the style.
